"You anoint my head with oil, my cup overflows." - Psalm 23:5

The idea of a cup that's full and overflowing has a beautiful meaning. It symbolizes both joy and sorrow, and in both cases, it spills over with abundance. If we want to enjoy the joys that come from the Lord, we also need to be open to sharing in His challenges; we must face difficulties with Him if we hope to share in His glory. But we believe that the struggles we go through now are nothing compared to the amazing glories that will be revealed in us. This gives us the strength to find joy even in tough times, letting our happiness overflow just like our struggles do. So, with the apostle, we can joyfully say, "Rejoice, and again I say, Rejoice!" (Phil 4:4)
