One of the worst things about the unrepentant naming the name of Christ, is this teaching that repentance is not to stop sinning, but is to stop enjoying it anymore, but learning to hate it while sinning.
What normal sinner on the planet, would actually try to say they hate sinning and take no more pleasure in it, while sinning?
The unrighteous sinners sprinkled with grace actually think so highly of themselves, that their sinning isn't as devilish as that of others, because they tell themselves they don't 'enjoy it' anymore.
"I really hate getting drunk now. I'll have another please, thanks."
Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God.
For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures.
Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season.
