Replacement theology is a demeaning term used by some christians of today to degrade or humilate other Christians for their beliefs.actually their is no such thing as replacement for any one in Gods kingdom.either a person is in or he is out of the kingdom of God either they are believers in Jesus or they need to be.replacement theology is a term used to demean other christians for their beliefs that now during ones life time is the time to come and receive the forgivness of Sin's Jesus offers. Because latter it will be to late.replacement theology is a term used to humilate other believers who say israel is the "Christian church"israel is only the true believers in Jesus. And does not include unbelieving jews or any unbelievers no matter their race.replacment theology is a suttle way to brand some one anti=semetic with out real saying it that clear.replacement theology is a cowards term and should be taught that it is.

Actually, replacement theology is that term used to describe those who believed that national Israel of the Old Covenant was "replaced" by the people of God of the New Covenant, thus the term "replacement theology." The term is generally applied to non-dispensationalists that interpret the seed of Abraham (not seeds) in Galatians 3 as Christ, not Israel, therefore rendering all believers inheriting the promise of Abraham. There are variations of the intricate details, but basically this is the scheme, not the way you described it.

We have to be careful with replacement theology. While I agree with you that only believers are in the Kingdom, that is the election of grace. The physical seed of Abraham (Israel) is the election of race. There were great promises to those racial people, but since it is perceived that they rejected Jesus, that these promises no longer apply, but are now applicable only in the believer. This is untrue. One has to see what has been promised, and under what conditions. In other words, one can be racially elect of God, have the promises, attain to the promises, and still be lost eternally. They are not elected of grace. A promise like Genesis 35:11 was not meant to be fulfilled in Gentiles, but by Abraham's own sons and God's Word as a blessing to all nations was meant to actually go out by these same people. On the other hand, the same race of people can also attain to the promises, and be saved if they believe, which is what God intended (they are both elect of race and grace). Then the third group are people that are not racially chosen, but they still attain grace and are also saved. They are elect of grace (Gentiles). Now I want to be careful here, because Paul compared that to the wild olive branch and are thus graphed in because of their faith to inherit the promises as well, but in their natural condition are not chosen of race. They are only graphed in because of the people of race who also attained grace. If you have grace, you have the race so-to-speak. But you might be of the race, but don't always have the grace. I truly believe that the racial people of God will have an opportunity later to accept salvation, however.

i think it is important people turn to Gods word and read about the jews of Jesus line and then read romans .there was not any thing special about the jews that God would choose them as his peopleno he choose them because of his grace. they are not special there very fortunate that from them would come the savior of the world. But Now we can concider them special though because Jesus did come from them.

Tim, Paul seems to say otherwise - that Abraham's offspring is Christ, not Israel. How do you derive your position from scripture?

Myriads of Scripture. The bible is a book about Israel. For more information, go to this thread about the birthright I had out. I mention 3 points and answer each of them. You'll have to scroll thru the entire post to see all my answers. I hope you have the patience, because IMO this is the core foundation of biblical teaching and purpose: I'm hungry: Sell me your birthright.
