No, I'm basically saying there's no such thing as post tribulation or rapture. The word of God do not need help with added words to fit doctrine.
Your basics to the scripture(word of GOD), studying plainly the surface of it word to word for understanding, cannot determine the truth in context.
It takes first, years of discipleship based on the scriptures alone, reading it again and again.
And then part by part and time to time revelational understanding will be released from above to us. (because we did not get it when we read these same passages earlier).
Then we'll be able according also to the wisdom given us from above in learning, able to interpret, even in other words, also to sum them up short, to minister and witness to others. (2Timothy3:16&17)
As the 'rapture' referred to the church fathers is actually the 'first resurrection' in the scripture(word of GOD).
The 'second coming' like a thief of Jesus in the 'clouds' is to bring home the first batch of the ready and prepared church saints, even all who died ready and prepared of HIS coming soon.
Then, the other living batch who were ready and not prepared spiritually, will b left behind, to go through the thousand years.
That in lesson, they and the future generation of church, be diligently ready and prepared spiritually, dead or living, for the 'second resurrection'.
The resurrection for the Final judgement on the church sheep and church goats, where they are those who'll resurrect unto life in Heaven and those who'll resurrect unto damnation in hell.
And the 'post-trib rapture' mentioned by some of them, including us, is actually the 'first resurrection' in the scripture. (Revelation ch. 20)
John saw these souls in Heaven 'beheaded' for not yielding to anti-Christ's laws, demands and threats during the Great Tribulation. (vs.4)
Moreover further in the scripture, they are those who have come out of the Great Tribulation. (Rev. 7:14)
And these souls that have part in the 'first resurrection' where 'second death' have no power over them, lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Therefore reasonable and wise saints in Christ, did the 'first resurrection' take place, 'before', 'or in the midst', or 'towards the end', of the Great Tribulation?
To us, 'towards the end', just before Jesus' third coming with the angels in Heaven who followed Him to fight, anti-Christ, the kings of the earth and their armies who've waged war against the Lamb.
'Very short gap' between the second and third coming of Christ, because after the 'second coming' and 'first resurrection' of the church saints?
His 'second coming' is very soon on earth, where anti-Christ cum the false prophet finally are cast alive into the lake of fire, and likewise satan will be bound in the bottomless pit for a 'thousand years'.
To conclude 'very close' because, the resurrected church saints lived and reigned with Christ a 'thousand years', and likewise satan is bound in the bottomless pit a 'thousand years'.
