What do you guys think the fatal wound is in rev13? Do you have any biblical evidence to back it up? :bible:

Its a wound to one of the head countries of the 10 horns /heads of the one world order. The one World system is the first beast in Rev. Revelation 13:3 "And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.One of the ten countries in the leadership of the beast (system) "were wounded unto death". How does a office, or government of a country die? Of course in that the political system falls apart. That government then comes back to life. This can done because the whole world is under the same "one world system" that will be run by Antichrist/Satan

Many scholars believe the beast mentioned in Chapter 13 of Revelation is the "little horn" of Danial, or The anti-christ. He is wounded in some fashion, and he makes a "miraculous" recovery. Then the whole world worships him, and his boss (satan).But keep in mind that God is in complete control, and only gives satan power until it is time to take it away from him (in Ch 19).Rank Stranger

I would agree that the little horn is Satan/Antichrist but he is the second beast in Rev. not the first I believe scripture to show he is the one that heals the deadly wound not the one that receives it. In chapter 13 we will find the rise of two beasts. One will be the rise of a one world political system and the other will be the rise of the religious beast which is the anti-Christ. In this chapter we will find several analogies that many find confusing, but if we follow this chapter verse by verse and stay focused on the subject and object in His Word, it all comes together. 1And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. In Revelation 17:15 it tells us that the waters represent the mass of people from every race and nation. Out of the waters are the people that the one world political system will rise from. This same type of beast rose against God in the first earth age as stated in Revelation 12:3. 2And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. Swift like a leopard, trample like a bear, and the tearing power of the lion. Satan's spiritual powers will utilize this political system, or one world order. This is the time when Satan makes war against God's people and two witnesses when he kills them.

In chapter 13 we will find the rise of two beasts. One will be the rise of a one world political system and the other will be the rise of the religious beast which is the anti-Christ.
There are two beasts mentioned in Rev. 13. Since both are described rather alike in language structure, why should one be a system and the other a person? Wouldn't it make more sense that either1) both are systems or2) both are persons?

I do understand that you are saying that one beast is a system and the other beast is a person. However, what I fail to see is WHY the difference, when the imagery is just two beasts, described in similar language styles. To be consistent, it either has to be both being systems of both being persons.

This symbol of the "sea" being people is documented in Revelation 17:15. This "sea", or masses of people are looking to this "beast" [political beast] as their peace system. The "seven heads" are seven dominions of the people, or seven continents of this world body; Horns" are always symbolic of "power". These "ten horns" are ten agencies, or units of power flowing from this beast, or political system. awesome ! Thanks Kriss , I am trying to study revelation but all of the imagery is hard. How do you know what is what?
