Do people here believe in the resurrection power of Christ or not? That is the issue here. Can we abide in Christ and walk as He walked or not? Are we always slaves to sin or not?
Most people on earth refuse to repent of serving demons.
People here ? God knows.
I believe you already know what Scripture says, and Scripture is always truth.

"Really? How many Israelites believed the Red sea parted? All of them! Yet they mostly all perished in the wilderness because of unbelief.

That is the way with mankind. You can lead <TESTIFY TO> people to the truth...but you can't make them believe.

And so it is with the spiritual walk.

Striving to apprehend that for which I have been apprehended by Christ Jesus.

I am not trying to prove things to you. Only God can do that. Forget about the world planet Earth and consider the world bearing on this forum "DNB". The only proof I have is in my own heart where God has placed it. People to whom God has given it may also see, but before that happens to or in anyone they must allow it. God does not force anyone. As Jesus put it:

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden..." Matt 11:28

Don't come to me, that is to Amadeus, for answers expecting also proof, unless you also listening to and hearing His voice as Saul/Paul heard the voice and went to Ananias:

"And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice." John 10:4

How does one hear?

"So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Rom 10:17

I cannot, and God will not, force anyone to do things His Way. His Way is the only Way that works.
My point is Amadues, of which you fail to realize by making your extraordinary boasts, is that if you, or anyone, is speaking to God daily, if you or anyone has the Spirit, etc.., then you are the ones that I would expect infallible truth from, where I would expect miracles from, where this forum could resolve half the debates. Do you see what you are professing?
Now, I can't imagine how you are going to defer this obligation, you, the one who speaks to God everyday?
Let me guess, every man for himself, right? We're alll supposed to come to God when each is ready?
That's hogwash, men endowed with the Spirit, imparted divine truth and saved souls. This, you won't admit.

Okay, now that is the 'negative' aspect of what people see today, yes, and true.

What is the LIGHT! The Positive side, that few people see, but still it is seen , as also first seen in the first century, in Scripture ?

The issue is this...how do you know if someone is fully sanctified or not? Judging by what or how?

Does a sanctified person make a show of it? Of course not!

Do people honour what is best in others? Of course not. Neither do they know all about others.

People don't discern spiritual things very well.

Of course some people become fully sanctified. But that doesn't mean they can stay there. Holiness is about location...being in Christ. So then the saints are they who have come into holiness...and yes ...out as well. We go in and out until we learn to stay in. A man called John Wesley knew of a certain pastor who went in and out of holiness 5 times before he learned to remain (abide) in Christ all the time. And he was the most saintly man he knew.

I have been in and out twice...and could not remain there because of immaturity. The first time because I was lonely and overwhelmed in my own selfishness...I wanted out. The second time I lasted a few years without even a stain of sin....but I was fooled by the devil in trusting someone. A very specific attack that I wasn't careful (too smug) thinking I was beyond the reach of deception. We can only remain in that which we have learned to remain in. That is the process of maturity IN holiness.

Otherwise we are walking in whatever righteousness we have of ourselves while seeking to be led by the Spirit.

God gives us the perfection of Christ as a gift of grace as He permits...and it is up to us in character and maturity to seek to remain there once translated into His presence in Zion. To abide (remain) in Christ so as to walk as He walked. That is the high calling in Christ.
Our disagreement lies in the fact that you are making sanctification to be a one-time event. I claim that it's a perpetual walk, where no one ever reaches sinless perfection. So, sorry, therefore I highly doubt that you 'lasted a few years without a stain of sin', highly dubious. Especially then to be so susceptible to deceit, and allured by something so grotesque as sin. It is a constant walk, a constant effort, a constant battle. God does not endow people with perfection, man must make the effort by incessant study, faith and prayer.

It is evident when someone is sanctified, very evident. Wisdom is prevalent in their speech, compassion is evident in their heart, and peace is testified to by their character. Just to mention a few transparent symptoms. If it's hidden, it's not there. A wise man, who has the Spirit bestowed upon him, will never, ever, subdue it. God will quickly take the talent away.

If someone sees "David going against goliath", should they "defend" David?

Or justly and simply give true testimony , as seen and heard ?
If someone on a Christian forum, makes an unrelated and irrelevant remark about a certain post, they should be corrected and rebuked.
Especially when they continuously do so.

:) ..... perspective ..... when is a show a show authorized by God the Creator, and when not ?
Was the messenger of God , the apostle , sanctified ?
Especially when God Breathed His Word thru him >>
" Philippians 3:4ff

Although as for myself, I [as a Jew] could be having confidence also in the flesh. If, as is the cse, anyone else presumes to have come to a settled persuasion, trusting in the flesh, I could occupy that place, and with more reason;
eight days old in circumcision, my origin form Israelitish stock, belonging to the trive of Benjamin, a Hebrew from true Hebrew parents [i.e.m, not a Hellenist], with reference to the LAW, a Pharisee, with regard to zeal, persecuting the Church, with reference to that kind of righteousness which IS IN THE LAW, become BLAMELESS.

But whatever things were to me a gainful asset, these things I have considered a loss when it comes to my acquisition of Christ, and still so consider them. Yes, indeed, therefore, at least, even I am still setting all things down to be a loss for the sake of that which excels all others, my knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord which I have gained through experience, for whose sake I have been caused TO FORFEIT ALL THINGS, and I AM STILL COUNTING THEM DUNG, in order that Christ I might gain, yes, in order that I might in the observation of others be discovered BY THEM to BE IN HIM, not having as my righteousness that righteousness which is of the LAW, but that righteousness which is through FAITH IN CHRIST, that righteousness which is FROM GOD ON THE BASIS OF FAITH, Yes, for His sake I

have been caused TO FORFEIT ALL THINGS, and I count them but dung, in order that I might come to know Him in an experiential way, and to come to know experientially the power of His resurrection and a joint=participation in His sufferings, being brought to the place where my life will radiate a likeness to His death, if by any means I might arrive at the goal, namely, the out-resurrection from among those who are dead.

Not that I already made acquistion or that I have now already been brought to that place of absolute spiritual maturity beyond which there is no progress, but I am pursuing onward if I may lay hold of that for which I have been laid hold of by Christ Jesus.
Brethren, as for myself, as I look back upon my life and calmly draw a conclusion, I am not counting myself yet as one who has in an absolute and complete way laid hold [of that for which I have been laid hold of by Christ Jesus]; but one thing:
I, in fact, am forgetting completely the things that are behind, and am stretching forward to the things that are in front; bearing down upon the goal, I am pursuing on for the prize of the call from above of God which is in Christ Jesus.

As many therefore AS ARE SPIRITUALLY MATURE [in a relative sense], let us be constantly of this mind. And if , AS IS THE CASE, in anything you are differently minded, and that, in an evil sense, this also will God reveal to you. Only one thing, so far as we have come,
let us keep our lives in the same path. Become imitators of me, brethren, and observe attentively those who conduct themselves in a manner which reflects the example which you have in us, for many are going about, concerning whom I OFTEN HAVE BEEN TELLING YOU, but now also
TELL YOU WEEPING, the enemies [they are]of the Cross of the Christ, whose
END IS UTTER DESTRUCTION, whose god is their stomach, and that which they esteem to be their glory is their shame, who regard the things upon the earth. (have not given them up)///"

Permit if you will a footnote:
sanctification is not related to men's claim or idea of "sinless perfection".
It is related to observing TORAH, I believe, as noted throughout all Scripture (OT and NT) ...
It is God's Doing, totally dependent on Him, of course,
yet what does God detail about sanctification in His Word ?
Which or what part is one time, and (often?) , when and where is it shown as a daily walk abiding in Jesus, not departing from Him?

Who is the judge thereof ?
WHen Jesus answered His Own disciples, or spoke to them, or to those opposed to Him,
and Jesus Words were completely 'off topic' in man's view and context,
HOW did JESUS know what to say ?

Boast? No, no boast, I have tried simply to share where I am. Believe it or not! I am also only a man. Why should you expect infallible truth from me? Jesus is truth, but how clear is our vision of him? Even of what I do have that is "good" how can I share any of it outside of God's will? What is His will in this that you ask?

"But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee." I Chron 29:14

Should I post a definite lie based on what I believe? As to infallible truth, the only person who could recognize for certain whether or not something was infallible truth would be someone to whom God gave such discernment. Where am I? God knows and I know to the extent He has given me to know, but can even I separate out the belief from the knowledge? I think not!

As to the miracles, this is the sign seeking that they demanded from Jesus. Jesus gave them rather the sign of Jonas. What is a miracle to God? Never mind what men want to define as a miracle.

"For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?" Matt 9:5

The debates or discussions or declarations or questions or prayers on this forum may be used by God... or not, as He sees the need. Resolution of these debates to satisfy you or me or any other member here may concern God at all. Should it concern us? If, yes, why?
Now, I can't imagine how you are going to defer this obligation, you, the one who speaks to God everyday?
Let me guess, every man for himself, right? We're alll supposed to come to God when each is ready?

Defer what obligation? Am I not obliged to follow the lead of the Holy Spirit if I am surrendered to God? Where is it that the Spirit will lead me? Do you suppose that God tells me such things always before hand? Why would you make such a supposition? To say that I know without knowing, would that not be tempting God?

"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." John 14:26

We may control on own direction and the time we possess, but should we? I believe not!

Grace is a gift...not earned. Sanctification is indeed by grace as a gift. Jesus IS our sanctification...not BECOMES our sanctification. Jesus IS our wisdom and knowledge.

But once we have received the gift...we have to learn to STAY in that. To not be enticed away through desires or curiosities..or other loves.

1 Cor. 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

So to enter into Christ is to enter into holiness.

Your quote refers to the promise, not the immediate actuality. It's like a General speaking to one of his soldiers who says, 'Don't you not know that you are a warrior, warriors do not succumb to fear!' Although in principle it is true, it requires understanding to gain such a lofty ideal. If you sign up for such a vocation, or subscribe to such a faith, the attributes are not automatically ascribed, they come as the understanding grows. This is what 1 Corinthians 1:30 is stating, and all the other verses that make the same affirmation.

When the LIGHT comes into the world of someone, even though the purpose is God's Purpose,

they usually reject it, because their lives are sinful, their deeds are evil.
