The story of Job is a sad story to say the least.

All his riches lost, children destroyed, wife and friends mocking him and his love for God.

Just like the fall, as if the serpent found a flaw in God's creations, Adam and Eve. He brought a matter against dear, loving Job.

God eventually returned to Job what was destroyed.

Job's successors sometimes find despair in this life but still remain loyal to God. We sometimes stray. But our loving savior carries us back.

For some, they are promised reward in heaven. Eternal peace, rest for the weary soul. Abraham's bosom. And the resurrection. Happiness in a heavenly family that loves and cares about them.

Cheers,

Devin
