Really? Cause when you get sick due to a virus, it is not your fault......your body is reacting to the virus. People who are victims of crimes are not at fault. If devils took advantage of our fallen state in order to destroy us, how is that our fault?
Your fault is that you remain in fallen state. Ever heard of “born again”? If you stay close to God, vigilant and true, if you do not open yourself up to attacks on your weakness relying on God for strength instead then you are not in fallen state. You still live in fallen body but you can control it with born again spirit.
Finally, I do not agree with you that devils are all knowing because they are not divine.
I never said that they are all knowing.

What does any of that have to do with demons?

What did I or others that try to reply to you did to you that you want to cause them pain?

Do you realize that coherent statements are much less painful to read?
LOL! That's what happens when you respond to message boards by using a smart phone.... It ends up making you look stupid!

Sorry....

Actually, maintaining a proper view of Satan helps me remember that he is not omnipresent, omniscient, or omnipotent - nor is he my personal tempter. So many Christians out there are practically obsessed with Satan in their lives it is as if they have a personal relationship with him!

I choose to focus on my personal relationship with Christ and His people.

I like this because you're right that people seem to form a personal interactive relationship with the devil that's more present to them than their relationship to Christ. We aggrandize the devil in our minds to be much more powerful than he is. The Bible characterizes the devil as a very weak, insignificant creature that wields a lot of power over the nations based on perceptions of him rather than reality. "Is this the man who did cause the kingdoms to tremble?" (Isaiah 14:16) And his pathetic ambitions are met largely with success because he becomes a giant in our minds, like a gallon of water that can fill a room with steam, making itself seem much larger than it is.

I'm enjoying your responses on this thread. They are on target.

Sure weak and insignificant like a roaring lion;

1 Peter 5:8

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Odd. It seems you are irritated that others don't fear the devil like you do.

I quoted from the Bible and you call it “irritated”? The very guy whom you claim to be your first pope disagrees with you and you find it “odd”!?
If you clearly disagree with the Bible you may have a problem and it is not me.

I don't think St. Peter was running around scared of the devil.

The one that can devour?

The one that can bring fire from heaven, wind that is strong enough to kill, start wars…. Read up on Job.

How about Revelation 13:12-14?

He exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence. And he makes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose fatal wound was healed. 13He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down out of heaven to the earth in the presence of men. 14And he deceives those who dwell on the earth because of the signs which it was given him to perform in the presence of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who had the wound of the sword and has come to life.…
I don't think St. Peter was running around scared of the devil.
Indeed. The only people that are running are the ones irritated by the Word of God.

Satan’s modus operandi.

Just recently realized what is the tool with which Satan controls humans. He does not have to give something to control a person, he just has to stop giving something he already does.
Just that simple!

All the days of your life one experiences oppression, depression, dissatisfaction.... where does it all come from? It comes from Satan. Then one comes across some kind of sin, sinful behavior and... wow! …all that pressure is momentarily lifted. Person feels awesome, released and starts thinking ... it feels so awesome, and natural, I must be "born this way!" Deeper and deeper into the sin he goes chasing that naturally free feeling which now comes at the higher and higher price, of more and more heavily sinful behavior.

One can find another "thing", another behavior, another sin that makes you feel good. Satan gladly trades one sin for another, only God truly sets free.

I agree with what you posted. Would like to add to what you said.

Satan rules the world, and has many ways to manipulate people. My understanding is that Satan puts evil thoughts into people’s minds. He also can make people feel lust for anyone. He makes people lust after one of the same sex, or even lust for someone not his or her wife or husband.

If a persons owns Satan’s input as their own thoughts or feelings, then he or she are trapped into a sinful life.

By lust, do you mean sexual desires?

Exactly. Once you accept Satan’s thoughts put into your head as your own you are on the hook!

Nice post bud!

What has struck me about satan is John 8:44. His native language is lying! He can speak truth but only with deceit. Like a heavy accent that is always there.
