1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. - Romans 12:1-2.

Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind. How is a person conformed to the world? Doing things the way you have always done them. Doing things the way you do things is part of your creation, but doing things like you did them when you were still in the world has to do with old things, habits, mind-set, and ect. Unrenewed mind, or areas of the mind that is not renewed.

Paul's admonition is for a believer to transform themselves (mind) by Spirit led teaching into your new self. Believers no longer have the same old self (two being one) but they have a new self, life self, a new identity self.

We only act out of the old self by one of two ways; by either forgetting (you will forget who you are quicker than remember who you are, that is a natural reaction from a human being, in scripture it is discribed as frailty) who we are or not knowing who we are.

Trying to be a good christian can be a person's biggest down fall because they already have the good one in them and can live from that life as brought out in union living by the Holyspirit. We have mentioned many times about Holyspirit taught knowledge which is revelation. Revelation will always be of the person in you, Christ. That is the main ministry of the Holyspirit to teach you Christ, the Christ in you. So make a mental note because that knowledge is always working and we can go every direction trying to find out what is going on in this life.

What is happening is while in the schoolhouse the Holyspirit is waiting for a believer to ask and say! What is going on, why are there moments of relief and the right back into the schoolhouse? He will lead you but it will not be by your terms, by what you know, by anything other than what he has to say about Christ in you. So believers can do themselves a favor by stopping, slowing down and be taught. Saints the schoolhouse does not go away, it is not necessary for it to go away. It is your instructors (governor's and tudors, Galatians 4:1-2.) so you don't want it to go away, you just think you do. Bless you.

Not to derail your post (thread)only curious what your thoughts are on 2 Corinthians 11:13-26 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. [14] And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. [15] Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. [16] I say again, Let no man think me a fool; if otherwise, yet as a fool receive me, that I may boast myself a little. [17] That which I speak, I speak it not after the Lord, but as it were foolishly, in this confidence of boasting. [18] Seeing that many glory after the flesh, I will glory also. [19] For ye suffer fools gladly, seeing ye yourselves are wise. [20] For ye suffer, if a man bring you into bondage, if a man devour you, if a man take of you, if a man exalt himself, if a man smite you on the face. [21] I speak as concerning reproach, as though we had been weak. Howbeit whereinsoever any is bold, (I speak foolishly,) I am bold also. [22] Are they Hebrews? so am I. Are they Israelites? so am I. Are they the seed of Abraham? so am I. [23] Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft. [24] Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one. [25] Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep; [26] In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;

Any input on transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. ?

Not really, the spooky stuff I will leave to the experts. Transformed believer will have some input such as study, giving yourself to a certain area of scripture, yielding to the Spirit to learn and so on. But the other no just opinion at that point such as what a person would determine what is religion because of its inspiration. A common word for religion people use is 'man made.' It may be but the inspiration does not come from man.
