Sounds interesting. Comet brightness predictions however tend to have a history of being rather inaccurate and overrated. I remember Haley was supposed to be brighter than it was, and Kohoutek (before my time) apparently was quite a disappointment. Still it sounds impressive. As an astronomy geek I look forward to it.

Oh gosh... I hate it when things like this happen. We will be "treated" to an endless parade of pseudo-scientists and pseudo-theologins on television, radio, and coffee shops, all attacking each other for their unenlightened positions on the comet, all the while proclaiming the same message, "The world is going to end"
