All sin, is an elevation of self...
For all sin, is that which goes against, or goes contrary to truth and righteousness....That is what the purpose of the law was and is for, to let mankind know, and see, and have written down, a description of what righteousness and truth are in themselves...How they play out in real life...
For righteousness and truth are eternal, they will never change, will always be the same. What is right today, will always be right tomorrow, what is truth today, will always be truth tomorrow...Sin is that which goes against or stands against or breaks that which is eternally the right, the good, the true...
For sin to manifest itself in man, man had to elevate himself above or stand against that which was and is the right, the good, the true....The self life in man, is that which can and does stand against and elevate itself above the good, the right, and the true, to some fantasy of life of it’s own making. Whereby itself, is the center, whereby it’s wants, needs, and desires are elevated or put forth, as the more important, or that which must be satisfied....
It is this life, this self life that must be given up to death, if we are to grow and go on with God..This life that is in us, that we inherited from being born with this nature. That was birthed in Adam, when he chose to go against and elevate himself above God’s command..... Therefore, as the Tree of Life would have brought forth a life in Adam that was eternal by nature....In like manner, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil would also bring forth a life, but this life would be contrary, and elevate itself above all by it’s very nature.....
Adam chose the tree of the knowledge of good and evil...It was this act that birthed in Adam a life that would continually choose to elevate itself above the good proper and right.....Now like a beast of the field, Adam’s thoughts were how he could get the this, or the that, not about doing what was the good, proper, and right, but what itself or himself wanted.
This is the nature we inherited from Adam. This is why Christ died on the cross, to take us to death with Him, that this nature, that should never have been brought forth in Adam and subsequently in us, would be put to death, that a new life and new nature might be born in us..
Which new life is the offer of salvation to all mankind. To whosoever will, to each and every heart that would desire it...The simplicity of the Gospel of Christ embraced by the heart that would turn from it’s selfs own desires of life, to embrace a life that would not elevate itself above the good, proper and right..
Such a nature that would not elevate itself above, and do the good, proper and right, is that which the Divine nature is by nature. That nature that always does the good proper and right. This is why death to the self life in us is so necessary, so this new nature might grow and mature in the time of the body. For to the degree this new life, this new nature has been brought to growth in us, will be the limit and degree of life, true life, will we be able to enjoy, walk in, and live in, to all eternity. For the more of Him we possess here, the more of Him will we possess there..
May we all grow and become conformed to Him in all things, be blessed as we do, Not me
