I listened to two songs yesterday. "Mighty Warrior" by Bruna Olmeda and "Authority ( in the name of Jesus) by Stars go Dim. I slept like a baby. I woke up with" mighty warrior" in my mind. I live with my parents. They are always in a bad mood and the dog barking its always loud in the house. My parents don't listen. I listen to them. My mom gets annoyed if I talk to her and my dad has hearing problems. The problem there i say something and he shakes his head and smiles luke he gears me and then I say did you hear what I said and he shakes his head no. The problem he doesn't ask me to repeat it he just could careless if he heard it or not. I had nerve surgery in my back area a year ago. I've been under a lot. I know that that can cause depression abd I get digestive issues and inflammation. So all this adds to my issues. I know for sure this isn't why this is happening, but I know it does not help so thank you for praying. I listened to those songs and I'm going to try to do that often. Especially tonight. I finally slept better than I ever have. The enemy wants to crush my spirit and take my joy and I've been trying my very best to stay positive and hopeful. It's hard. Please please please continue to pray for me. THANK you for prayers. It is much appreciated!!! ♡ thanks

I use to get this in high-school years ago and have been fine for many years. I've been out of college so it's been a long time. People say it's not demons that demons don't exist, but everyone says their experiences is demonic and some see demons. As Christians we know they exist. I believe the physical and spiritual world are both real. Last night I was trying to sleep and I kept feeling like someone kept touching me and kissing me all over. It wouldn't stop. It started rubbing me. It wasn't pleasant if u catch my drift. I got up and got some benadryl and tried to sleep, but couldn't. I don't have porn on my Facebook. I don't look at porn. I don't have unmodested pictures up. I don't know what is happening. I was awake the whole night rebuking it. I have been fine all day and just now I heard a voice say, your loosing it. Your crazy. I have never experienced this before. I'm fine and healthy and usually sleep just fine. I know not to take benadryl a lot because it can cause hallucinations. I am careful with that. I've been feeling nauseous and dizzy the last 5 min. So I decided to join this forum and get prayer. I know physical and spiritual world are real. I'm not the only one who had had similar experiences and I know it is because of the demonic. I've been rebuking it, but I know I need help on this one. Sleep is so important. It is Saud that if u don't sleep u can hallucinatioate. I've been sleeping fine this is the first day with no sleep. I really want to sleep tonight. Why was I doing OK until writing this I heard I'm losing it. I'm crazy. Maybe he doesn't want me to reach out and get prayer. I'm not crazy. I have never done drugs or drank alcohol or had sex. Prayers appreciated. I don't feel I can trust someone I know and tell them so I post here. I'm a Christian so I know it's not just hallucinations. They are common experiences that come from somewhere. I haven't had sleep paralysis in years and I know everyone says it's a demon experience so I know they are right. I know this is not sleep paralysis. Please keep praying. Thanks.
Have you been ministering to a person who struggles with any of this? Lust, demonic experiences, etc.

@Kayla McCanny I believe you. I've gone through some similar things myself.

I'll pray for you. It is possible, though it may not be the cause, that you were dealing with someone that was struggling with a spirit and it may be harassing you.

Another thing I want to advise, is to take cautions about ministries, teachers, books that focus mainly on teaching about prophetic works/miracles. Not that those things are bad, but they are NOT the focus.

There are a lot of false teachers out there that will take you down a road you don't want to go down. Biblically sticking to the whole Bible, especially what Jesus had said himself, is far better than anything else.

Women need real theology just as much as the men do. The rest depends on God's will.

I'm glad you joined and asked for prayer. I will pray God will take this attack away from you.

The sensation of feeling touched and kissed when no one is physically present is a type of tactile hallucination, where the brain perceives a physical sensation without an actual stimulus. This can occur while falling asleep (hypnagogic hallucination) or waking up (hypnopompic hallucination), and might be linked to sleep disorders like narcolepsy. It's also possible to feel this way during states of heightened anxiety or stress, or as part of a more complex mental health condition.
  • Causes:
Tactile hallucinations can be associated with various factors, including:
    • Sleep disorders: Hypnagogic and hypnopompic hallucinations can occur during sleep-related events like sleep paralysis.
  • When to Seek Help:
If you experience frequent or distressing tactile hallucinations, it's important to consult a healthcare professional or mental health professional to rule out any underlying conditions and explore appropriate treatment options.

Can we just not invalidate a person's experience and cause them a deeper spiritual wound than what they're already dealing with?

I use to get this in high-school years ago and have been fine for many years.
Ok, so now we have a time frame of when this demonic oppression (apparently) started.

People say it's not demons that demons don't exist, but everyone says their experiences is demonic and some see demons. As Christians we know they exist. I believe the physical and spiritual world are both real.
Yes, it is real. Knowing who you are in Christ, and then appropriating that Authority in prayer, is how you most effectively deal with this. Remember that deciding to act is not an emotion - it is a choice.

Do not be afraid. You have a choice in how you decide to react when confronted with an ugly devil. Fear is not some metaphor or allegory. Fear is a demonic spirit - one that the Lord has not given to his people:

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (2 Tim. 1:7).

Last night I was trying to sleep and I kept feeling like someone kept touching me and kissing me all over. It wouldn't stop. It started rubbing me. It wasn't pleasant if u catch my drift.
From my experience, I believe you're dealing with a well-known devil (aka demon) from antiquity colloquially known as the nightmar. Note the modern spelling has added the letter "e" at the end. Let's expose this creature that still torments millions of people in their bedrooms today.

American Dictionary of the English Language, Noah Webster, 1828:
NIGHTMAR, n. [night and Sax, mara, incubus, nightmar. Mara may be from the root of merran, to stop, to hinder, or it may be the Rabbinic, an evil spirit or demon.]

From wikipedia: An incubus is a male demon in human form in folklore that seeks to have sexual intercourse with sleeping women; the corresponding spirit in female form is called a succubus. Parallels exist in many cultures.

So the nightmar is an incubus (i.e. the male form, whereas succubus is the female form).

Continuing with American Dictionary of the English Language, Noah Webster, 1828, we find:
INCUBUS, n. [L. from incubo, to lie on.]
1. The nightmar; an oppression of the breast in sleep, or sense of weight, with an almost total loss of the power of moving the body, while the imagination is frightened or astonished.
2. A demon; an imaginary being or fairy.

The Online Etymology Dictionary, ©2010 Douglas Harper, tells us:
"Meaning shifted mid-16c. from the incubus to the suffocating sensation it causes. Sense of "any bad dream" first recorded 1829; that of "very distressing experience" is from 1831."

Here is The American Heritage® Stedman's Medical Dictionary, in which we find today's watered down definition familiar to everyone:
nightmare, n.
1. A dream arousing feelings of intense fear, horror, and distress.
2. An event or experience that is intensely distressing.

As you can see, the true origin of nightmar has been covered up today.

And so, a nightmar (aka nightmare) is not "sleep paralysis" but a demon.

I got up and got some benadryl and tried to sleep, but couldn't.... I know not to take benadryl a lot because it can cause hallucinations. I am careful with that.
My advice would be to appropriate your standing in Christ, rather than using a drug, as the drug is just another open doorway for the enemy to enter.

I don't have porn on my Facebook. I don't look at porn. I don't have unmodested pictures up. I don't know what is happening.
Again, sounds like this problem might date back to your earlier school days. Could be something as simple as some guy you were playing around with sexually in the school locker room that opened a doorway...

I was awake the whole night rebuking it. I have been fine all day and just now I heard a voice say, your loosing it. Your crazy. I have never experienced this before. I'm fine and healthy and usually sleep just fine.
Well, the enemy loves to add insult to injury, to kick you when you're down, to hit you again when you're at your lowest. It's just one more way you can read that loser.

I, for one, will be praying for you today. I also share a similar experience. While in bed, I had a devil try to sodomize me, and it physically hurt. After I confessed my past sexual sin(s), and turned away from them (i.e. repented), the attacks stopped. FWIW, orifices are gateways. Putting anything into an orifice that it is not designed for, can open a gateway to this type of devil.

Why was I doing OK until writing this I heard I'm losing it. I'm crazy. Maybe he doesn't want me to reach out and get prayer. I'm not crazy. I have never done drugs or drank alcohol or had sex.
Of course. The enemy knows you're seeking help to be delivered from his torment, and so the "crazy" lie would be foisted, as well.

I offer a couple possibilities:

1) Maybe you didn't have physical sex, but you thought about it, played it out in your mind, fantasized and masturbated, or purposed yourself to do it at some point when it became more "convenient" for you. Or maybe you allowed the media's spell-casting vids into your eye gates i.e. you watched things you're not supposed to watch. This doesn't rest well with most, as they yell, "Who are you to tell me what I can and cannot watch???" Rather, "I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me." (Psa. 101:3). Wise, discerning believers make a conscious choice to not allow Satan's subtle but smelly garbage into their temple.

2) It could be a generational spirit. Perhaps those in authority over you, usually your parents, allowed that spirit into your home. They did not stand in the gap and stop that spirit, to deny it access and thereby close the gateway. Whether it came from the unconfessed sins of your parents or from longer back in your generational line, doesn't matter. Until someone steps in and closes the door to that devil's legal right to be there, it will remain and will torment the innocent ones down the family line. And it PREFERS to remain in your generational line, because it knows a lot about your parents, your grandparents, your great grandparents, etc. It knows a LOT about how you spend your fun hour.

Prayers appreciated. I don't feel I can trust someone I know and tell them so I post here.
Don't trust anyone here, either, including me. The Holy Bible is clear that we are to trust no man. So whatever you hear here, take under advisement i.e. lay it down before God and ASK HIM about what you've read, whether it be of God or of Satan. There is no middle ground.

I'm a Christian so I know it's not just hallucinations. They are common experiences that come from somewhere. I haven't had sleep paralysis in years and I know everyone says it's a demon experience so I know they are right. I know this is not sleep paralysis. Please keep praying. Thanks.
Yes, they are "common experiences," as mentioned above. But most of us haven't been taught how to deal with them. And just because you have not had any attacks for years does NOT mean that devil has gone away. He will bide his time, wait for a new family or other opportune times to strike again - until someone closes that gateway.

To close a gateway, confess the sin (i.e. what activity that devil is responsible for, the activity that is tormenting you) to God, and repent (TURN AWAY) from it steadfastly. God gives strength, for example, to drug addicts who lack the physical ability to consistently turn away, but God gives strength to those who confess. (Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. - Heb. 4:16). Having done that, then you stand (i.e. in your spiritual armor); you bind that devil and cast it out of yourself and your life in the name of your Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ ("Devil of fornication, GET OUT." "Devil of gluttony, GET OUT", etc.).

Then you must forgive those who hurt you and/or allowed, however ignorantly, this spirit into your life. To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ; Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. (2 Cor. 2:10-11).

Yes, prayer from other believers is important, but deliverance first begins with you. You must be willing to pick up your cross. If you are unwilling, and rely only on others, then their intercession will be thwarted. And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. (Luke 9:23)

Godspeed, my friend.

I hate this story but I'll tell it anyway because it relates to what you both are talking about.

I was about 28, I think, when someone hurt me I talked to someone else as someone to talk to only. I was not interested.

A day or so later, I had a dream of a succubus type woman attacking me and I screamed something like "you can't have me" and something about Jesus, in the dream the thing left, and in real life when I woke up to the guy texting me "are you a succubus?" For what reason, I don't even know. It never went anything close to that.

I broke contact with that person. But I suggest be careful with the people you talk to and protect yourself.

Medicine can help and can make it much worse. There are side effects and it's big pharma. You have to becareful. It doesn't always work either.

After I confessed my past sexual sin(s), and turned away from them (i.e. repented), the attacks stopped. FWIW, orifices are gateways. Putting anything into an orifice that it is not designed for, can open a gateway to this type of devil.

Don't trust anyone here, either, including me. The Holy Bible is clear that we are to trust no man. So whatever you hear here, take under advisement i.e. lay it down before God and ASK HIM about what you've read, whether it be of God or of Satan. There is no middle ground.

Thank u so much. I remember in high school unchristians knowing I'm a Christian and I remember something about the unchristians listening to a band or song named, incubus. What you said really resonated with me. Almost everyone in public school new I was Christian. I know this is a spiritual attack. I just found out a girl I know it into metaphysical new age stuff so I'm guarding my heart against her ( not being mean to her in anyway) and standing firm. I'm not tempted by it. I told her she is allowing demons in her life. She said not if her intentions are pure and I know that intentions aren't good enough demonic is demonic. I'm trying to wrap my mind around what is happening to me and not be paranoid, but more strategic in my walk with God and spiritual warfare. This is so hard right now. I feel like I just got ran over by a truck and I'm just laying there an noone is helping me just staring at me. Just how I feel, but you guys prayers are an answer to mine. I need Christian brothers and sisters in my life. I go to church, but there are no people my age and it's my only option church wise. I like the church it's just I don't have friends my age I can connect with and pray with. Thanks. I'm going to re read what you wrote and pray about it. Today was a great day.

Yes. I think it has something to do with it for sure. I'm rebuking it.

Don't worry about age. You can learn a lot from older people and they tend to love having someone to talk to.

Does sound like you need to detach from the person though. I can't remember if I said it before, but I'll say it again just to be sure: Psalm 1.

I have a history of witchcraft before being saved. You should pray for her, but don't hang out, unless she is open and willing to receive the knowledge of truth.
