This does not prove a correlation of wisdom to intelligence. If he is so intelligent, he probably realizes that it is cringe worthy to lean on his intelligence for evangelizing. Yet he has determined rightly to approach his audience in such a way, making use of the opertunity.

And on another point, I've come to think that one's emotional quotient is more important than a high intellectual quotient. Poor emotional health has devastating impact on even high intelligence.

I was telling my wife about some of what he said. To me it's like describing the mechanics of God's working. I find it fascinating.
