Following the tenets of Fabianism, they will likely just progressively push the limits; illegal immigration will increase incrementally, from a stream to a flood, so long as the US can assimilate them properly without it causing mayhem.
But keep in mind, the US will no longer be quite the promised land it was. When Hispanics see Hell breaking loose in this country, they may be less inclined to come. Radical and Jihadist Muslims, however, will be delighted to come. It will be just the kind of playground they love to play around in. Under cover of all the other social unrest, they will be able to operate with much greater success.
