In a particular era of the Egyptian hieroglyphs you might find Anubis the jackal headed beast. What Israel of old would consider a dog, as that relates to not a child in the biblical narrative. Children of God are not dogs. Jesus spoke of not giving that which was for the children of Israel to the dogs. But cast out foul spirits from such as spoken of in the new testament.

Another prominent figure was a bird headed creature, a raptor or fowl of the air called Horus,

In the Babylon mystery there are mentions of every fowl unclean bird, and also the Bible deals with beasts of types some clean, some unclean. Some little amount of beasts that were sacrificed and the vast many not sacrificed.

While foul spirits are demonic in biblical texts, we learn that the afflictions of Israel, God's chosen people, were not pleasant. Such afflictions throughout biblical texts were Israel captivity in Egypt, Babylon and other afflicting rulers such as Sodom and Egypt.

There is also Amun-ra, the Egyptian sun god:

Of the stories in the old testament we learn of God delivering Israel from captivity with Moses and Aaron set to convince Pharoah and his sorcerers to "let Israel go" with their cattle and goods.

Of course the story ends with the plagues of Egypt and eventual destruction of Pharoah and his armies.

Jesus the Christ is the holy, sacred, virtuous sacrifice. We learn of him as Emanuel or " God among us", where, together with his father, healed and raised some from death and into life.
