The Pope is more worried about the creation then the creator, he has no understanding of bible prophecy at all.Birth pangs, in terms of Bible Prophecy, refers to certain convulsive geopolitical, geophysical, astrophysical and world-wide socio-economic events and issues scheduled to occur in the time leading up to Jesus Christ's Second Advent (second coming). These are likened to the contractions experienced by a woman about to give birth, with those episodes increasing with frequency and intensity. Jesus' foretelling of these birth pangs use the word "sorrows," in His Olivet Discourse on end time things to come.
"And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows." (Matt. 24:3-8)

Most of these world leaders are humanists. This means they deny the existence of Jehovah, His redemption of the world, divine judgment eternal damnation and most everything else in the Scriptures.
Their Humanist Manifesto says, “We strive for the good life, here and now” (and their idea of the good life includes abortion, gay rights, euthanasia, wealth redistribution, silencing Christians, promoting socialism, and more).
Their Humanist Manifesto also says, “Our commitment to all mankind is the highest commitment of which we are capable.” This “commitment to all mankind” is a commitment to establish a New World Order that controls all people on earth.
Put another way, most of those who plan to fundamentally transform the world don’t believe in the Christian’s God, the Christian’s Saviour, or the Christian’s Bible. Many think they are doing a good thing, but they have rejected all of the Bible’s warnings about the dangers of a coming world government and world religion.
Tragically, many mean well, but they have exchanged light for darkness and their planned transformation is going to be the greatest disaster the world has ever experienced (the Tribulation period).

The Sustainable Development Summit is not a Jesuit conspiracy. It is a United Nations effort that has nothing to do with the Catholic Church. The Vatican is not even a UN member, it only has observer status. The Pope has been invited to give a speech. He always exonerates leaders to act justly and morally. We know this from previous speeches and sermons and official documents. Your links, and I read both very carefully, are misleading. (and I am being polite)

The Pope already met with 300 participants in a meeting promoted by the Foundation for Sustainable Development just 10 days ago. Here is the context:

Distinguished Gentlemen and Ladies, good morning and welcome!

I thank Doctor Ronchi and Doctor Caio for having opened our meeting, and I thank all of you for having collaborated with this international meeting, dedicated to a subject whose importance and urgency cannot be exaggerated. Climate is a common good, gravely threatened today: phenomenons indicate it such as climate change, global warming and the increase of extreme meteorological events. They are topics, or objects, which attract great attention from the media and public opinion, and around which and from which angry scientific and political debates are widespread, though not unanimous, consensus has emerged.
Why and how should we be concerned about it? We cannot forget the grave social implications of climate change: the poorest will suffer the greatest consequences! Therefore -- as the title of this meeting correctly shows -- the question of climate is a question of justice and also of solidarity, which is never separated from justice. At stake is the dignity of everyone, as people, as communities, as women and men.
Science and technology put in our hands an unprecedented power: it is our duty to use it for the common good for the whole of humanity, especially for the poorest and future generations. Will our generation succeed in “being remembered for having assumed our responsibilities with generosity”? (Encyclical Laudato Si’, 165). Perhaps among the many contradictions of our time, we have sufficient reason to nurture the hope of succeeding in this. And it is from this hope, that we must allow ourselves to be led.
In carrying out this commitment, I hope that each one of you will experience the pleasure of participating in actions that transmit life. The joy of the Gospel also dwells here.
In what way, can we exercise our responsibility, our solidarity, our dignity of persons and citizens of the world? Each one is called to respond personally, in the measure appropriate to him based on the role occupied in the family, in the work world, in the economy and in research, in civil society and in institutions. Improbable recipes will not be drawn. No one has them! Rather, offering what happened in dialogue and accepting that one’s own contribution is put in discussion: a contribution is requested of all in view of a result that cannot be, but fruit of a common work. The great enemy here is hypocrisy. Rightly does your meeting represent an example of the practice of this dialogue, which in the encyclical Laudato Si’ I proposed as the only way to address the problems of our world and to seek truly effective solutions. It seems to me a sign of great importance, even Providential, that outstanding exponents of different “worlds” are taking part in this meeting: of religion and politics, economic activity and scientific research in many sectors, international organizations and those committed in the fight against poverty.
To bear fruit, this dialogue is in need of being inspired by a vision that is both transparent and wide, and to proceed according to an integral approach, but especially participatory, including all the parties concerned, also those that remain more easily on the margins of institutional processes.
I address to everyone a pressing invitation to make every effort, so that when seeking at the table the way to resolve the unique and complex socio-environmental crisis, the voice of the poorest may be heard, among the nations and people: this is also a duty of environmental justice.
Facing the emergency of climate change and with our sight turned to the crucial meetings that in the forthcoming months will address it -- the approval of the objectives of Sustainable Development by the United Nations at the end of this month and especially the COP 21 of Paris at the beginning of December -- I hope that this dialogue will become a genuine alliance to be brought to really significant global environmental agreements.
In this endeavor, you can count on my personal support and that of the whole Church, beginning with the indispensable help of prayer. Henceforth, I offer to the Lord our common effort, asking Him to bless it so that humanity will finally listen to the cry of the earth -- today our Mother Earth is among the many excluded that cry to Heaven for help! Our Mother Earth is an excluded one! -- also the cry of the earth, our Mother and Sister, and of the poorest among those that inhabit her, and to look after them. In this way, Creation will come ever closer to the common house that the one Father has designed as gift for the universal family of his creatures. I ask God’s blessing for you all. Thank you.

The Pope identifies with the poor four times. Maybe that's why the multi-trillionaires hate him so much.
  • the poorest will suffer the greatest consequences!
  • especially for the poorest and future generations.
  • the voice of the poorest may be heard, among the nations and people
  • and of the poorest among those that inhabit her
Concerning the Pope's use of the term "Mother Earth". He does not use it in the New Age sense, he uses it in the sense of Franciscan spirituality, which pre-dates our modern "new age" by 800 years. St. Francis used many metaphors to glorify God for His creation. You would be wise to find out more about St. Francis of Assisi.

UN Wants to Control Catholic Church

This article was originally published by Newsmax on February 6, 2014.

The United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child has just released a report on the way the Vatican has responded to the sexual abuse of minors by priests. The 15-page report contains not a single footnote, endnote, or any other mode of attribution. But it does provide plenty of evidence as to its real agenda.

The U.N. panel is using the sexual abuse of minors as a pretext for its true objective: it wants the Vatican to submit to its authority, and not just in instances involving international law—it wants the Catholic Church to change Canon Law and to adopt a secular sexual ethics. As such, it is one of the most ambitious power-grab efforts ever undertaken by a U.N. committee. The panel is also profoundly ignorant of the data.

On p. 3 of the report, the panel says the Holy See should “undertake the necessary steps to withdraw all its reservations and to ensure the [U.N.] Convention’s precedence over internal laws and regulations.” (Its emphasis.) It is quite explicit: “The Committee recommends that the Holy See undertake a comprehensive review of its normative framework, in particular Canon Law, with a view to ensuring its full compliance with the Convention.”

In other words, the teaching body of the Catholic Church, the Magisterium, i.e., the pope in communion with the bishops, should yield to the U.N. This would be the equivalent of asking the United States Congress to make sure its laws are in compliance with U.N. strictures.

Hubris is too mild a word to describe this unmitigated arrogance.

On pp. 12-13, the panel says it wants the Catholic Church to change its teachings on abortion and contraception; it also says the Church needs to do more about HIV/AIDS.

It is painfully obvious that these panelists have not thought through this issue. To wit: if everyone followed the Church’s teachings on sexuality, we would not have this problem in the first place. To be exact, those who acquire HIV/AIDS typically do so because they live a reckless life, in sharp contradistinction to the Church’s plea for restraint.

The panel is so intent on policing the Church that it demands a Canon Law change in the use of the term “illegitimate children.” It also directs the Vatican to order Catholic schools to change its textbooks, getting rid of alleged “gender stereotypes.” Not only is this another example of its abuse of power, the panel provides not a single piece of evidence to buttress its claim. Someone should also tell these experts that the Vatican does not tell Catholic schools what textbooks, or curricula, it should adopt. But to control freaks, delegation is a difficult concept to grasp.

The panel lectures the Vatican on the need for “awareness programs,” urging “systematic training” for those who work with minors. Just who do they think started these initiatives? We’re not the ones who lack mandatory training programs—the guilty parties are found in other religious communities, and in the public schools. This explains why sexual abuse is not a problem in Catholic communities today the way it is elsewhere. The panel needs to get up to speed, assuming it has any real interest in this issue.

On p. 8, the panel instructs the Vatican to end corporal punishment, saying it must amend “both Canon Law and Vatican City State laws.” Ironically, the U.N. has now detailed how 10,000 Syrian children have been killed and tortured in the last three years.

Syrian kids are being raped and beaten “with metal cabals, whips and wooden and metal batons”; they are also being subjected to “electric shocks, including to the genitals.” Their fingernails and toenails are being ripped out of them, and they are being lacerated with cigarette burns. Most of these barbaric acts are being conducted by government agents, yet there is no demand that Syrian officials yield to the U.N. It is too busy wondering if Sister Mary Alice is taking a ruler to a miscreant student.

The one attempt at providing evidence is a colossal failure: on p. 7 it cites the Magdalene Laundries as an institution that forced girls “to work in slavery like conditions and were often subject to inhuman, cruel and degrading treatment as well as to physical and sexual abuse.” This is a bald-face lie: the McAleese Report, an investigation authorized by the Irish government, shows that none of this is true. To read my analysis, “Myths of the Magdalene Laundries,” see the “Special Reports” section on the Catholic League website. The panel’s report is libelous.

Finally, the report says the Church needs to end the practice of “baby boxes.” In many countries, there are drop boxes next to orphanages; they are placed there to entice girls who are pregnant out-of-wedlock, and who cannot care for their babies, to allow others to raise their child. It is a humane practice, one that is widely practiced in South Korea. What is not humane is to kill babies in utero, which is precisely what this U.N. panel recommends.

For sheer demagoguery, this report cannot be beaten. It is as malicious as it is inaccurate.

The Pope isn't stupid nor is he ill-informed. A One World Government is not on his agenda, its one that has been imposed on him by the Christian Taliban.

The planet is in trouble, and if nothing is done about it our children's children won't have much of a planet. If the Summit can bear good fruit, that is what the Pope favors. If the Summit is just a tool for some world domination conspiracy, it will be the obscenely wealthy who will benefit, and they already control the economies. That is not the Pope's fault.

The pope is lobbying the UN and individual countries for the "one world religion", which will be part of the "one world government"...the environment and his great concern for children is all a photo op, designed to gain him support...the pope should study the words of Jesus in the Bible and learn, that salvation is through the Son of God, God's grace and commandments, and NOT the roman religious doctrines, sungod/satan and their days of sunday, dec 25th and easter etc, all of which are non Biblical and of pagan origin.
