The serpent was the most beautiful creature and scripture talks about his covering being precious stones and such.

I firmly believe that Adam and Eve were a single person and the most beautiful creature was their covering.

The 3 of them one.

I think the body wants what it wants and it whispers to the soul, and this is the water and the blood.

But there is the spirit which is to guide the body, but whatever is done is done in all 3.

The flesh wants what it wants and speaks to the soul, and the spirit says no, but when you have done a thing, you have agreed in all three, because whatever the body and soul do, the spirit is also among the two.

Wow, that is one of the most interesting posts I've seen in a long time.

Ezekiel 28:13-14 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

I agree with much of what you are saying and the spirit of the beautiful cherub may well be in us until he is dispelled and Christ enters...however, he himself is a separate entity. If I am understanding you correctly, you see the covering cherub as being part of Adam and Eve (who were one person but then were separated).

I understand it differently. I see the cherub, back when he was loved by God, as being protector...the covering for God's precious stones, His children.

Covering/Covereth - #5526 a defence, a hedge, screen.

That's the PAGAN concept of the andronygn, the idea of a being (or pagan gods) having both sexes. That idea is NOT part of God's Word. It's part of pagan idolatry.

That's not as far fetched as we might think. How do we become the BRIDE OF CHRIST? Our
spirit represents the man within us and our soul represents the woman within. When our spirit
allows our soul to rule the day, we will more than likely submit to the flesh, or eat the fruit of the
flesh and break God's Law.

The first thing we must understand is the GARDEN OF EDEN is within us. Isn't that what Jesus
told his disciples... for the Kingdom of God is within. Conversely, if you allow the man within
you (your spirit), to rule the day, you will eat the fruit off of the TREE OF LIFE, which is the fruit
of the Spirit and keep God's Law.

What a God! What a Plan!

Who is the thee & thou in this passage?

Try reading the passage in context....to understand how the imagery is being used.

LOL. "Try reading the passage." My, what a condescending tone you have grandma.

I have read the passage many times and I understand the passage. The "thee and thou" is Satan in the first earth age.

Actually it is far fetched, very far fetched, which is how paganism has taken the things and ideas of God's creation and changed them and made idols of them, including the idea of the andronygn, while also... trying to connect it with spiritual things. This is something I don't expect that many of my Christian brethren would know the history about, which is why I'm bringing it up here, now.

In the Ezekiel 28 Scripture, God is indirectly speaking about Satan as the anointed cherub that covereth, and not a flesh man that lived back in history. A cherub is a heavenly being per God's Word, and that's what God created Satan as in the beginning before he rebelled. That's what that Ezek.28 Message is about, how God originally created the devil perfect in his ways, and how he was in God's Eden originally following God, until he rebelled against God and God cast him out. Included there is how God is going to destroy him in final, which is still future to us.

So just because some haven't yet been able to understand the simplicity of God's Message there in Ezek.28, it doesn't mean they can just go making up a bunch of stuff that it is not about.

Where does it say Satan?

The point of the story is that we sinned against God and blamed a serpent for it instead of talking responsibility for our actions. The nature of the tree and the serpent really do not matter. We are called to obey and confess when we fail to obey. No reason to get all mythological......

The Word of the Lord is not mythology.

The tree and serpent/Satan are of great importance. He beguiled in the garden and he beguiles the woman/church today. We face Satan's spiritual deception every day...to not see this is to open ourselves to following him rather than God.

And what is Satan doing in this section of Scripture?

Oh....I don't know....maybe writing drafts of the many false translations of the Bible that so many would willingly fall prey to in the generations to come? The better to deceive you with my dear. He is, after all, the deceiver of the world.

Doesn't scripture teach us that God is both male and female? Gen. 1:27 says,

27 God created man in His own image, in the image
of God He created him; male and female He created
them.

So... does that make God both male and female?

What a God! What a Plan!

To mean "you don't know"?

Does it have something to do with Tyre?

Tyre
Aspired to be a god in the earth.—(Ezek. 28:2.)

Practised an iniquitous traffic.—(Ezek. 28:18.)
Proud of her commercial prosperity.—(Ezek. 27:25.)
Set her heart upon riches.—(Ezek. 28:5.)
The “John Bull” of her day.—(Ezek. 27.)
Was filled with violence.—(Ezek. 28:16.)
Sin, iniquity, and corruption were in her.—(Ezek. 28:15–17.)
Was a fornicatress.—(Isa. 23:17.)
Hoped to profit by the laying waste of Jerusalem.—(Ezek. 26:2.)

Or her King maybe?
