I hope everyone's enjoying turning their clocks back tonight instead of the electronics doing that for you this year. Thanks to the ding bats in Washington apparently did not realize (or care) that electronic stuff with automatic time changing will not know when a decree goes out to change one's clocks on a different date. So, if you forgot to disable the DST mode on your electronics, you probably found everything turned back last week and you had to correct it. Now, this week, you have to change the clocks again! The same will happen in March. So, at the very least, remember to disable your DST mode and change stuff the old-fashioned way unless you are rich enough to buy all new electronic equipment.Fortunately, these computers have patches for that problem, but not everyone downloaded it and they still had their DST mode checked off in the time property box---- I heard of several cases, even businesses, that had erroneous time changes of their computers last week.

I know its been 2 days now since we turned our clocks back, but here is an interesting site that deals with time and other calibrations (government site). It includes links for OS patch on computers so that the time will change on the right date (you can also tell the time properties to sync with the Internet as well)http://www.nist.gov

I forgot to turn my clocks back until Sunday morning after missing the morning church service because of thinking it was later than it was.
