The writer of Hebrews wrote Heb 2:9

9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

Now honestly, did the writer write here that Christ tasted death for all mankind without exception here ? Nope he did not. In the original man isnt in the verse:

τὸν δὲ βραχύ τι παρ᾽ ἀγγέλους ἠλαττωμένον βλέπομεν Ἰησοῦν διὰ τὸ πάθημα τοῦ θανάτου δόξῃ καὶ τιμῇ ἐστεφανωμένον ὅπως χάριτι θεοῦ ὑπὲρ παντὸς γεύσηται θανάτου

Man was added by the translators. The word pas can refer to all the whole, the sum total of all the group intended. Context is important n determining the group that the writer has in mind. Lets look at the very next verse 10

10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

Bingo, its the many sons that e suffered and died for, or tasted death for,
The word many polys:

many, much, large, many, numerous, great

He tasted death for many Sons, a great number of them, everyone of them. This is important,, because later in the same epistle the writer uses the adjective many again to denote who He tasted death for Heb 9:28

So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

See to taste death back in Heb 2:9 is the exact same thing as " to bear the sins of many;" again, the many Sons of vs 10, everyone of the sons is who He tasted death for, not all of mankind without exception.

See Isa 53:11

He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

Heb 2:10 makes it clear who the everyone or every man is in Heb 2:9 for whom Christ tasted death for. Its for every son that He suffered and died for, constituting Him the Captain of their Salvation which brings them to Glory:

10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

Notice it specifies their Salvation ! So He tasted death or suffered for their Salvation. Also this taste of death for them ensures their being brought to Glory.2

Yes, the "many sons unto glory" is referring to Christians (not the whole wold) who will become glorious sons of God, and brothers of Jesus:

(11) For both he who sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all from one, for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brothers,

but nevertheless Jesus' sacrifice was for everyone else to be saved from death too - 1 Timothy 2:3-6 (WEB):

(3) For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior;
(4) who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth.
(5) For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,
(6) who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony in its own times;

Non-Christians may miss out on becoming glorious sons of God, brother to Jesus, joint heirs of God with Jesus, but they will nevertheless be resurrected to life and given the opportunity of eternal life (living as humans on the earth) during Jesus' millennial reign.

False, only the ones His death brings to Glory, unless you believe His death lacked efficacy to dothat for everyone He died for, tasted death for

its kinda obvious my friend , cause notice he leaves other verses out
that say what occurs to those who beleive NOT .
He picked and he chose what to bring while leaving the other OUT .
If we gonna bring scrips do include the other verses with them .
Because he sure forgot about the part where JESUS said MY WORDS will judge them .
He sure seems to have left out the part where JESUS said
HE who beleives NOT is CONDMENED already for HE BELIEVETH NOT ........
He sure do leave a lot out of his explanation .
As YOU WERE WISE to SPOT IT my friend .

I just listed some verses for others to consider and draw their own conclusions. Here are some other verses to consider, Titus 2:11-14 (WEB):

(11) For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men,
(12) instructing us to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we would live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present age;
(13) looking for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ;
(14) who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify for himself a people for his own possession, zealous for good works.

So Christians in "this present age" are looking forward to Jesus' return for the Church, when they will become a personal possession of Jesus and joint heirs with him. All non-Christians still have salvation (from the first death); how they live after their resurrection, during the 1,000 years reign of Christ, will determine wether or not they will have eternal life.

same john also wrote
He who BELIEVES not the testimony GOD gave of the SON calls GOD a liar .
HE is cherry picking and twisting even those lovely scrips he did bring , TO support that which OUGHT NOT be supported .
Many do this my friend . You spotted this yourself and asked the right question .
You see what is really under attack , and specially in these last hours
is THE WORD BELIEVE . WHEN that word entails YE MUST BELIEVE IN JESUS THE CHRIST
Men are doing this my friend . they are building a false gospel and doing all now
to get the minds of the people ready to accept THE LIE .
But the sheep know , and that by grace , IF CHRIST said it GOD SAID IT and GOD cannot lie .
The serpent he do lie and he knows how to twist things in order to deceive .

same man , when writing to titus
Preached the absolute dire need TO BELEIVE ON JESUS the CHRIST
and in many places he too warns what occurs to those who DENY HIM
You cherry picking again . YOU do realize this titus paul was writing too
BELEIVED and also KNEW ONE MUST BELIEVE ON JESUS THE CHRIST . you can cherry pick
and try and use them beautiful reminders as a means to Decieve
But that will be ON YOU .
OR you can repent and start using scripture to support scripture
rather than using scrip to try and deny other scrips . The soul of the man
who uses scrips to DENY JESUS , HIS GOSPEL , HIS dire warnings
and rather twists HIS own words to DENY his many other words ,
WELL lets just say THAT WONT BODE WELL AT ALL on the man who do such a thing .

notice it says in verse thirteen , LOOKING for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of our Great GOD and SAVOIR , JESUS CHRIST .
NOW HOW can one who BELIEVES NOT ON HIM , EVEN BE LOOKING FOR HIS COMING .
Exactly . they wont be , cause they dont BELIEVE On HIM . so you see
even the scrips you did bring , SHOW US the DIRE NEED TO BELEIVE .

Looks like someone didnt read verse thirteen too clearly
when they brought us the reminder paul gave to titus about the Grace of GOD that brings salvation .
Cause its quite obvious ONE MUST BELEIVE IN JESUS THE CHRIST
that the grace of GOD does teach us to BELEIVE .
cause how can one be looking forward to the COMING OF THE DAY OF JESUS THE CHRIST
if they dont BELIEVE IN HIM .

I have no issue with Scripture references, even isolated ones, that are claimed to "seemingly" support universalism-because, in truth, they do not. The consistent testimony of Scripture reveals that those who reject Christ are presently under God’s wrath.

Here are seven references affirming this truth:

John 3:36
"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him."

This verse explicitly states that unbelief results in God’s wrath remaining on an individual, with no indication of universal reconciliation.

Romans 1:18
"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness."

God’s wrath is actively revealed against sin and rebellion, not deferred until a later time.

Ephesians 2:3
"Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others."

Apart from Christ, all are naturally under the state of wrath due to sin.

Colossians 3:6
"For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience."

This verse reinforces that disobedience incurs God’s wrath, which is certain and imminent.

2 Thessalonians 1:8-9
"In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power."

Eternal destruction is the destiny of those who reject the gospel, contradicting universalist interpretations.

Hebrews 10:26-27
"For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries."

Willful rejection of Christ results in certain judgment, not eventual reconciliation.

Revelation 20:15
"And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."

The ultimate fate of unbelievers is eternal separation from God, not universal restoration.

These verses collectively refute universalism and affirm the gravity of rejecting Christ, showing the present and future consequences of unbelief.

Rather odd they dont seem to pay much attention to verse thirteen . DO THEY .
