Fifteen States want this. I think it's a good idea as most kids have never heard of the Ten Commandments. They usually only hear of the bad stuff pushed by the Woke agenda.

Its a start

When I was at school(I was raised in a catholic school) we had no idea who Jesus was. But we did know the 10 commandments. We knew them by being caned if we stepped out of line. (most of us was too scared to do anything "wrong") We was not pushed to read the bible, but was taken to church to watch the "show" and had mass every morning. I guess knowing you would have been whipped if you misbehaved helped to drive into us all to be a less violent bunch. There were some misfits and squabbles as kids go, but nothing violent like I hear of today on the news...and looking back, I was grateful back then for them keeping the violence at bay because I would dread to go to school in todays culture of gang warfare and doing what you please as I always felt quite vulnerable back then.

I feel for the kids today, it seems so much more scary today going to school these days without that kind of protection and without discipline. I am also not a fan of corporal punishment but I did see how it worked on the "unruly". There is a verse that says if the wicked are allowed to run wild, they will not the see the Glory of God. Isiah 26;10:

King James Bible
Let favour be shewed to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the LORD.

Blessings Deb.

I went to public schools. But the worst thing back then was a few high school kids smoking cigarettes behind the school between classes.

Most people went to church and people believed in God. Divorce was unheard of. Didn't hear much of any murders.

Ten Commandments in schools

Yes.

God, Country, Citizens.

Should be a basic knowledge of allegiance, not be a surprise to American Citizens.

And non citizens, dignitaries, visitors, valid visa holders, green card holder should be informed, that our foundation is not subject to their consideration of disapproval.
Respect or leave, just as a citizen has a right to Ex-pat and leave.

Elected representatives take an oath, Verbal with their word and signature of their name…
Signed on the Line with the Date…
“In the year….of OUR Lord.”

It is the heavenly Lord God Almighty, that men risked their lives to Stand for, Stand with, and praise and Thank.

Should His Famous words be not allowed to be mentioned, be taught, be viewed in institutions highly financially supported by men and women who took an oath to Serve the people at large?

Did you know, in the US house of Representatives, a large Relief plaque (a marble depiction of Moses face) hangs above the doors to enter the Chamber?

It is a Tribute to Gods chosen Law giver, and the model under which The Founders established The US Republic Government, by, for, of the Governed.

Glory to God,
Taken
