Brethren in Christ, I want to warn you.
Certain ideas about the "temple of God" phrase which Apostle Paul used in 2 Thessalonians 2:4 men's leaven doctrines have been trying to claim it means The Temple of The Spirit in Christ Jesus. That idea is false.
In Ephesians 2, Apostle Paul sealed the matter about The True Temple of The Spirit...
Eph 2:18-22
18 For through Him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner stone;
21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

The "synagogue of Satan", Christ's greatest enemies here on earth, have planted a lie against Paul's meaning above about the "temple of God" in 2 Thess.2:4.
They falsely claim Paul's "temple of God" means that above Temple of The Spirit of Ephesians 2!
One of the reasons they use such a false idea is so they can try and make us think that a pope is that "man of sin" of 2 Thess.2:4 for the end, and that he sitting over The Temple of The Spirit, i.e., meaning Christ's Church!
Do you really believe brethren, that any man or angel could replace our Lord Jesus Christ as The Cornerstone of The Temple of The Spirit?
The Temple of The Spirit, of which Lord Jesus is The Cornerstone, cannot... be corrupted, not today, nor ever. That is impossible.
If a false one even claims he represents The Cornerstone of that Temple of The Spirit, we automatically know that is a false one trying to claim to be The Christ! That claim in no way affects Jesus as The True Cornerstone. What it does is places that man's soul in danger of the future "lake of fire", that man being 'cut off'.
This is how... we know that the "synagogue of Satan" is behind the planting of the LIE that Paul's "temple of God" is about The Temple of The Spirit in Christ's Kingdom. They do not understand about The Temple of The Spirit, with Christ as its Cornerstone, otherwise they would never claim that "temple of God" which Paul pointed to is about the Spiritual Temple. They would have known better than to think The Temple of The Spirit could ever be corrupted, IF they were true Christians.
