I noticed today in my bible reading that God has established a hierarchy for his church:

1 Corinthians 12:28 And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues.

Noting here that apostles are above prophets in the organization and well above bishops and deacons.

I noticed in the LDS church they put a prophet above apostles. Hmmm, seems they didn't follow the bible on that point either.
