The Commentary On Revelation onlineFor those that want to better understand the book of Revelations you need to read Bullingers Commentary. When Pastor Murray teaches Revelations this is the book he uses. The Commentary On Revelation online:The Apocalypse or "The Day of the Lord"by E.W. Bullinger, D.D. Second Edition (Revised and Corrected) 1909http://philologos.org/__eb-ta/default.htmWhen you read Bullinger you need to read past his rapture comments. It was a primary concern on another web site, but you need to get past it. Bullinger lived in a period of time before the major discoveries of the where-a-bouts of the Northern tribes of Israel. He also lived in a time when the Christian church was strong and when he saw that the church was seemingly not present in Revelation thought something must have happened to it, and the rapture was fairly new at that time. The book of Revelation is written to Israel. It uses temple language, idioms and figures of speech that the Hebrew reader would have understood. Most important is the book of Revelation takes place in the coming Dispensation of Judgment, not in the current Dispensation of Grace. The Christian Church is the Mystery of God's Grace, and it is currently made up primarily of Israel. In the book of Revelation the Church is now Israel. So all references to Israel are actually references to those that during the Dispensation of Grace where the Church of God, ie. You and me. We know this because we know where the lost tribes are. Bullinger did not know that the Church and Israel were one and the same so to him rapture was a potential answer.Bullinger would not have agreed with the rapture as it is taught today, specially had he known the true identity of Israel.
