The hummingbird is a very small creature.

* It's brain is about the size of a BB.
* It has a very high metabolism... Needed to keep up with those fast wings!
* Depend only on flower nectar
* Exists between sea level and 17,000'
* Spend their winters in Mexico, the Caribbean Islands, or Central America
* Have been seen flying across the Gulf of Mexico
* Fly as far north as Alaska and the Yukon in the summer time.

The hummingbird is an interesting bird. In some similarity to the bees with their fast moving wings.. making honey out of regurgitated flower pollen..yummy.
