when people have less, or nothing, they tend to be more quiet and are better able to search and find God.
It's like when Jesus was giving the sermon on the Mount...
Blessed are the poor in spirit....
it's these persons that have little and are also poor in spirit (not the Holy Spirit)...
they realize how much they need something...and, most often, that something is God.
He fills that heart-shaped hole in our very being that only God can fill.
When people have more, they tend to be very satisfied with themselves.
They tend to feel like they don't need anything because they're very stable and have everything they need and so they don't realize how really needy they are.
This is why it's more difficult for a rich man to get to heaven...
it's more difficult for him to find God since he feels he's already set and is in need of nothing.
Our society is a mess because everyone wants to be the same and our ROLES are no longer being followed.
Women were told they'd be happy with JUST sex...but they also need love and affection and they need to be taken care of. Very different from men.
They were promised that work outside the home would be more fulfilling and freeing...
but it just enslaved them more and left them with little satisfaction.
They were promised that equality with men would make the free to be independent.
But independent for what?
If men are not necessary, why did God make them?
There are some of us women that understand all this...
the problem is getting the message to the younger generations...
mabye it's finally beginning?

I think this lady makes great points.
Lets not forget however that exploitation runs across the board, not just men exploiting women; that's a part of the exploitation game; it's the game Satan sells, it's the gimme, gimme, gimme which enslaves all; men, women, children, animals and the environment to destroy the image of God we were created in.

Some call this USING people.
I prefer to call it what is normally meant when we "use" someone.
It's our need for the other.
Needing someone has become a bad idea.
It's not.
We all need each other and it's normal and even necessary that we do.
"No man is an island".
So, yes, I agree that exploitation is bad.
But some believe that even "need" is bad...

I appreciate the points raised in the video, especially the critique of how some cultural narratives deviate from God’s design. At the same time, the biblical framework I hold says:
- men and women are equal in worth before God (Genesis 1:27 KJV; Galatians 3:28 KJV)
- men and women may serve in different but complementary roles (Ephesians 5 KJV)
- the authority and design we see in Scripture don’t diminish dignity—they safeguard it. If the “feminist narrative” is crumbling because it’s built on shifting sand, I’d suggest we build on the rock that is Scripture instead of the shifting sands of culture.
Marriage was always meant to be a one flesh union. Not two partners with competing visions. I have accomplished way more as a submissive home-centered wife than I would have continuing to just live for self/"independence".
Making my life about making hubby's life better has given me purpose and fulfillment beyond anything I had on my own.

I see my primary calling in this world is to give a better life to my wife, not materially, of course, I want to supply her needs, but that we can be the best marrieds we can be, and that I can help her growth in the Lord and in life as much as I am able.

Then I heard the next story the mention of Partner ? in relation to Married people !

Even though I support gender roles and will die on that hill, I believe we were meant to learn from each other.
