The Great Day of the Lord is near!

The Prophet Zephaniah speaks of the Day of the Lord and a time of trouble, but says nothing of the Lord taking you to heaven to avoid it. (Zephaniah 1:14-18) “The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly. That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, a day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers. And I will bring distress upon men that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung. Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD'S wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land."

(Zephaniah 2:1-3) "Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired; Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before the day of the LORD'S anger come upon you. Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD'S anger."

Lets go into Revelation 9:13 And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, 14 Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. 15 And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. 16 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.

The Euphrates River runs through turkey and is the dividing line between Eastern and Western Europe. 200 thousand thousand = 200 million. Russia & China signed a non-aggression pact and will raise an army of 200 million solders.

Lets go into Revelation 16:12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. 16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

We have the kings of the east, which is Russia, China and their allies. We have unclean spirits speaking lies and words of war. We have the dragon, which we know is Satan and the Beast who is the head of the E.U. The false prophet we know is the Pope. Because those that have understanding know who is this number. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: and that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. (Revelation 13: 16-18)

Lets go into Zechariah 14: 1 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. 2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. 3 Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

Lets continue with the Prophet Joel 2:15 Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly: 16 Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet. Zion is another word for Jerusalem and sanctify a fast at this time is the Day of Atonement when Jesus will return. Jesus is the Bridegroom and the Bride is his church, the common wealth of Israel. His chamber is Heaven and the closet is the land of captivity/hidden from the world knowing who the real Israelites are. Paul says in Romans 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

Some of that departs from the actual written Bible Scripture, and instead follows traditions of men that they came up with because they couldn't understand it properly.

For example, the Revelation 9 two hundred million army is about the 'locust' army of the Book of Joel, and does not mean a literal military army from Russia or China, etc. Rev.9 about that locust army is 6th Trumpet 2nd Woe timing, NOT 7th Trumpet 3rd Woe timing.

What happens on the 6th Trumpet 2nd Woe period per Revelation 11? It is the time of "great tribulation" when the "beast" and "dragon" will be in power over all nations. And Jesus showed in Matthew 24:6 in that time one shall hear of wars and rumors of war, but not to worry because the 'end' is not yet. The meaning is that the future time of "great tribulation" is to be a time of world peace when all wars have stopped. So NO Armageddon during the tribulation period, but a fake world peace instead.

The locust army of Rev.9 and Joel is symbolic of Satan's workers of iniquity on earth that are busy preparing for his coming as king to sit over the final beast world kingdom shown in Revelation 13:1. In the Book of Joel, God simply uses... the idea of a real military army to describe how they takeover the world and the wealth of God's people. It is not about a real military army, but God using the ideas of a military for how those locusts work at the end of this world.

Thus the Euphrates river drying up within that 6th Trumpet 2nd Woe timing represents the complete takeover of this world by Satan's workers here on earth, the "many antichrists" that have been at work for a long, long time, the "mystery of iniquity" which Apostle Paul mentioned in 2 Thess.2.

The REAL army that will come up against Israel on the last day at the battle of Armageddon of this present world is shown in the Ezekiel 38 Chapter, and does involve Russia. Though Red China is nowhere mentioned there, radical Islamic nations which Russia supports today are mentioned in that list, including Turkey which at present is a NATO ally. Yet this army is NOT the locust army of Revelation 9.

The EU is part of the plans for a one-world government by Satan's host. America and the Pacific-Asia regions also have those of Satan's world leaders in place in their areas. Thus trying to single out the EU is a doctrine of men, and not from Bible Scripture.

Likewise, trying to paint the pope as the Antichrist is the old Protestant Reformer's doctrine of the 15th and 16th centuries. That because the Protestants separated from the then Catholic Church, and the Catholics went to war against the Protestants in Europe. That is actually how the American colonies got started, many fled Europe to escape the persecutions of the Catholics, and other denominations allied with the Catholics. The Protestants thus thought Bible prophecy about the Antichrist and the end had come, that the pope was the Antichrist. But that belief did NOT pan out, it did not happen like Bible prophecy says, which means the pope is NOT the Antichrist.

As for the numerology given at the end of Revelation 13, the number of the 'beast' being linked to a pope, that is bogus. The number 666 is referring to the SEALS, TRUMPETS, and VIALS of Revelation 6, i.e., the 6th Seal, 6th Trumpet, 6th Vial, 666. That is when Satan as the "dragon" of Revelation will manifest here on earth as king over that Rev.13 beast one-world kingdom over all nations.
