Let's go over the scandals since President Obama was inaugurated:

1. Fast and Furious
2. Ben Ghazi
3. The IRS targeting freedom groups
4. The NSA spying on citizens
5. Eric Holder refusing to prosecute civil rights violations when the perpetrators are black
6. Eric Holder refusing to prosecute the IRS
7. And most recently the Justice Department sending operatives to stage and support rallies against George Zimmerman

And of course the list is endless.

When you go to Mexico or any South American country, you find the people dejected and overwhelmed by corruption. Nobody doubts that nearly everyone in governments there have their hands in the cookie jar and that justice is as elusive as is an honest politician. The plurality of scandals, outrageous excesses, and favoritism has caused hope and anger to turn into cynical surrender. People who live under corrupt governments have given up on thinking anything can be done about it.

And that's what the demonic Left is hoping to accomplish in this country. It's the reason that scandals are cascading one over another and investigations by Congress yield little in the way of consequences. Instead of cooling down and backing off after one scandal, it seems that this regime just ratchets it up, as if to say, "If you think that's bad, wait till you find out about THIS!"

America's fighting spirit is being tested. Will we end up like every country south of us who has digressed the prevalence of corruption or will we fight what's happening, never giving an inch to the enemy, and overcoming with sheer tenacity and determination?

Yes, our country's very character is now in question.

Are you serious? Do you really want to go there? Are you saying that George W. Bush had no scandals? Let's see....how many people have died in that completely bogus war he started? You want to talk about our country's character? Shall we really go there?

The current trend of government abuse and overreach certainly began under GWB. But it has been ratcheted up under the Obama regime.

And yes, I am questioning our country's character, especially after re-electing Obama 3 weeks after our embassy was attacked, our ambassador and marines killed, and nothing was done on it, all blamed on a video.

If the church had been out working in the harvest instead of playing in politics, we would not be faced with abortions, homosexual marriages and fiscal greed. Salt that has lost its saltiness is useless.

Agreed.

1 Peter 4:17
For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?
