In which my next video will be called "The Love Cult" in which will really focus on the power of Philadelphia that John Wesley brought into the world. And after being a member of this forum... That phrase brings more and more meaning!

I just traveled to an area of Pennsylvania to pick up a John Deere X500 lawn tractor that I had bought on Ebay. The place was just northeast of Morganstown, WV. I went from a freeway to a two lane road, then traveled quite a distance on a dirt road. On the way there I met a dozen gangs of turkey and many deer. There in a country setting was a large house with pole barns, tractors, farm fowl, and was greeted by friendly dogs. The man and the wife were married for thirty years, looked young, were uneducated but successful, and I was invited into the house for some coffee. While closing the deal a pretty young girl about seven years old came up to me wanting to play. They had taken that girl in after her dad perished in Afghanistan. There was such love and warmth in that house like I have never felt. This is the spirit of the Philadelphian church, which was born of John Wesley, the likes that are fastly disappearing from this earth.

Pretty soon the Gospel as presented by John Wesley will have departed this earth... In which, on my part, I will count as very sad! The Laodicean influence has not been good! The timeline...

The timeline...

Seven church ages... (seven is a number of completion)

1. Ephesus - Apostolic
2. Smyrna - Martyrs (Foxes has the persecutions as ten)
3. Pergamos - Orthodox - pyrgos - A fortified structure rising to a considerable height
4. Thyatira - Catholic - The spirit of Jezebel is to control and to dominate
5. Sardis - Protestant - A sardius, is a precious stone... Elegant yet hard and rigid.
6. Philadelphia - To be sanctified is to have a love towards God and man.
7. Laodicea - The materialistic church

Four horseman - (four is a number of this earth)

1. White - Democracy
2. Red - Communism - Note the sickle on the red flag
3. Black - Islam - Note the reference to high oil prices
***Ezekiel 38 is fulfilled between the third and the fourth horseman. This has to happen for the Islamic countries to support the Anti-Christ.
4. Pale - Anti-Christ - Will reign 3.5 years.

The church of Laodicea...

And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;[sup] [/sup]I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.[sup] [/sup]So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.[sup] [/sup]Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:[sup] [/sup]I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.[sup] [/sup]As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.[sup] [/sup]Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. - Revelation 3:14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19

1. Not hot - Nothing loving, warm, and fuzzy here!
2. Sickening - The events here make the Lord sick to his stomach.
3. Materialistic - Thinks that the treasures are in the materialism...
4. Nakedness - Sexually perverted.
5. Eyesalve - Lacking in proper perspective.

I believe the white horse is Catholicism, the red communism, black capitolism (that is their official color), and pale (actually green) is Islam (power of 1/4 of the population--and that's how big they are today) with death and hades close behind.

At first I thought you were talking about a church in Phily, Penn. But now i get it. :) I never associated the Churh of Philidelphia with Love, I guess I can see it though, but I had always thought Jesus said because they have not denied His name, and even though they had little power, He would save them from the hour of temptaion that is going to come on the whole world.

Just a thought.

Do you really think all Christian love shall be gone soon Rocky? Granted none of us are perfect, but I see so much warmth, love and charity around me that I can't help but feel you may be mistaken.
I know that modern society does lean toward materialism, but every single generation has had their sins. In my Grandmothers day they leaned towards religion itself....one was only a decent person if they attended church. If you skirt was a inch above where it should be you could not be a good Christian girl. Movies and dances were of the devil, and work on Sunday was not to be tolerated...even knitting bonnets for orphans. Pharisaical nonsense that trumped the love for people.
So in a way I believe every generated stumbles...but that does not change the fact that there are also many, many wonderful people in Christ who walk in the way Jesus taught...and I suspect the best way to 'find more of them' is to strive to be that way ourselves, through the grace of God!

I think so many people today are becoming more materialistic because they are not finding (true) love. That means we are not doing our job.

When I was in college I attended a Free Will Baptist Church in Michigan where they observe the Foot Washing as an ordinance. After participating in one I really felt joy, love, warmth, and a clean feeling such as I have not felt the like.

More people would benefit from a foot washing service as they are way too cold and arrogant.
