In the bible, christianity is defined by nations being led by a central prophetic figure or king.

The prophet embodies the Will and Word of God. The role of people is to seek God's Will and obey.

This is the main social structure utilized by the faith in terms of tradition.

From my perspective it is an inefficient and ineffective societal structure for 1 king or 1 prophet to represent sole sources of innovation and progress for societies composed of many people. If a nation of 20 million people has 1 king or prophet who was their sole source of innovation and progress, doesn't it seem like a loss for the imagination and creativity of the other 19.9 million to not be put to good use?

The ideal format may be one where the individual productivity and creativity of every person in society is effectively harnessed.

Simply due to significantly more good being achieved on earth with 20 million prophets, rather than 1.

Due to these observations, I was thinking about what an evolution or improvement over traditional christian hierarchy might resemble.

What if the next evolution of christianity was one where a prophet or king is eliminated from the equation and all of the people individually became prophets / kings on their own merit.

Walmart enjoyed success cutting the middle man out of its business model.

Perhaps believers in religion can enjoy similar success through eliminating prophets and kings serving as middle men between them and God.

The foundation for this movement may have been laid by standard education, regular access to libraries and the internet. Everything a person would need to know to be a king or prophet can probably be found in a library or on the internet. People no longer need rely upon middle men to convey God's Word and Will. They can DIY by having a direct relationship with God, without proxy.

In terms of traditional values, these are frightening concepts to consider.

We are naturally disposed towards looking to others for leadership and guidance.

It is not often that we look within ourselves for these things.

In observing the direction of current events and civilization.

In an era where many of our leaders and heros are lost or denied us.

There doesn't appear to be much alternative aside from walking a path which demands we ourselves rise up and become our own leaders and heros at some point.

While prospects of such a move may not be pleasant. It could well be God's Hand which drives these events pushing us onwards towards brighter days and better tomorrows. Even if the current timeline appears a bit cloudy.

I'm seeing a very different thing. I'm seeing the world being conditioned against Christianity in all those schools and that internet. Calls for killing Christians on a wide scale have been going out in this country. I'm not so sure things are going to be so rosey until Jesus comes.

Much love!

Half of Americans in a recent survey indicated they believe national news organizations intend to mislead, misinform or persuade the public to adopt a particular point of view through their reporting.

The survey, released Wednesday by Gallup and the Knight Foundation, goes beyond others that have shown a low level of trust in the media to the startling point where many believe there is an intent to deceive.

Asked whether they agreed with the statement that national news organizations do not intend to mislead, 50% said they disagreed.

Only 25% agreed, the study found.

If we are rejecting what the news says in record numbers post COVID.

This trend could apply to social media influencers and others who once held influence over the public.

People of the world appear to be cutting out middle men they once relied upon for information and guidance.

In the past we may have looked to newspapers and the Pope to tell us God's Will. It is possible this trend is on a steep decline. People may be rejecting news headlines and the Pope. Opening the way for them to have a deeper and more direct relationship with God.

In addition to this, Donald Trump, Alex Jones and other right wing figures being attacked deny people of leaders and heros they historically looked to for guidance. If people are denied their heros and leaders, they could adapt and become their own leaders. While this could take time. Isn't it astonishing how quickly people have begun to question and reject news headlines in only 3 years?

Anti christian radicalism may not resonate with those of this era. Its an old world agenda from a time when people were more comfortable invading and committing genocide against neighboring nations. There is a chance that type of radicalism will only alienate the majority of people. Pushing them in the opposite direction.

The difference between Walmart and the Faith, is that Paul said "there are not many great, amongst us" (letters, from memory).

It's not necessary that everyone believe, just that someone does (that's "wisdom").

I think the next Evolution, will be the gradual embrace of differences, despite having the one faith - so old men will dream and young men will have visions (OT, from memory) meaning in ways that are still culturally relevant to a single messenger (who themself have a progressive message, that incorporates these things).

That's what you're saying, right? That at some point we will have to incorporate a diversity of faith?

I can see us doing that, without doing away with the messenger, is all I am saying.

Christianity is a forward looking religion.

In the US, a child begins in kindergarten. Eventually graduating at grade 12.

Humanity is the same. We started in the old testament. Worked our way up to the new testament.

But our education and journey did not end with Jesus. The lessons and growth were meant to continue. This is the reason for 12 apostles being selected. To further the growth and journey which Jesus began.

What form this will take in the future, is something to think about.

We don't recognize such a thing may be happening all around us, even if we're living through it atm.

Where does it say this.
Jesus and his disciples addressed individuals not nation's.
Jesus is the Son of God, the final messenger from God there is no new developments, no new essenger fro God taking Christianity off in a different direction, in fact Paul warns that anyone even supernatural messengers, if they teach something g other than the gospel, they are not from God.

"Where does it say this?"

King David.

King Solomon.

Abraham.

Moses.

Etc.

If you have heard any of those names before.

Remember, Jesus is a direct descendant of King David, some called him King of the Jews.

It also helps to remember christianity spread to the entire world thanks to efforts of the apostles and those who came after them.

There are always new developments. The formation of the US Constitution under the founding fathers to found a christian nation could be considered a relatively new development of christianity.

Abolishing slavery could be considered yet another.

Freedom of speech and the 2nd amendment likewise.

Am I right?

Am I right?
No, you could be more wrong.
If Christianity was based on an earthly leader or monach, than we would currently have Godly leaders and rulers.

Christianity has spread largely due to the efforts of non governmental organisations.
In fact the British empire actively opposed the work of Christian missionaries.
Slavery was again opposed by non governmental organisations.

One can always check whether a nation is Christian by how that nation follows the ten commandments.
How that nation valves individuals, marriage and freedom to worship.
There are very few nations that actually do this.

First three words: in the bible.

In the bible, christianity is defined by nations being led by a central prophetic figure or king.

We're not counting kings or monarchy outside of the bible.

1 samuel 8 is excellent.

Realistically, Christianity's next Evolution, will be on the testimony of the Holy Spirit.

Perhaps the Holy Spirit will tell us, of someone to come -that's also true.

We must remember to be open-minded about the faith; Evolution tends to be used to close people off, to possibility (in God).

The nation of Israel and the kingdom of Judah were not Christian, they followed the religion of Judaism, not the worship of Jesus.
In the New Testament there is no Christian nation, just a growing assembly of Christians.

Your idea is not only biblically incorrect it is also factually incorrect.

If they're not christian.'

Why do many christians cite leviticus and other old testament verses as bona fide christian teachings?

To be Christian one has to be a follower of Christ.
The nation of Israel then and Jews today do not follow Jesus.
Christians refer to the Tulmud because it foretells of the coming of Jesus as well as telling us about how God wants us to behave through his commands and by the example both good and bad of the Jews relationship with God.

Where in the Bible, does it say "God has finished sending messengers"?
Hebrews 8.
The ot looks forward to Jesus's coming, in the nt we look back, at Jesus's death and resurrection, while also loo, ingredients forward to his second coming.
There is no new message, no new messenger, Jesus has completed what he came to do. There is no need or reason for a new message or messenger.

Actually it is not the same thing. Try going into a synagogue and telling those there that they are worshipping Jesus.

While God speaks to us still through the Talmud, he speaks far clearer through the new testament.
