The Potter And The Pot; GOD Is The Potter, We Are The Pots = Psalm 2;8-9, Romans 9;20-21

Psalm 2;8-9
Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

Isaiah 29:15-16
Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the LORD, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us? Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter's clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding?

Isaiah 64:8-9
But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand. Be not wroth very sore, O LORD, neither remember iniquity for ever: behold, see, we beseech thee, we are all thy people.

Jeremiah 18:1-6

And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it. Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying, O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.

Jeremiah 19:10-11
Then shalt thou break the bottle in the sight of the men that go with thee, And shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Even so will I break this people and this city, as one breaketh a potter's vessel, that cannot be made whole again: and they shall bury them in Tophet, till there be no place to bury.

Romans 9:19-21
Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth He yet find fault? For who hath resisted His will? Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to Him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

Revelation 2;26-29
And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. And I will give him the morning star. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

yet far too many behave as though they the potter and GOD the pot and they try and fashion HIM according to their own hearts desires .

An example . If they support homsexuality they say GOD DOES
IF they love that money they find the god of the prosperity gospel that gives them their hearts desires
If they support abortion they create a GOD that supports it and so on and so forth many do .
WE THE CLAY , WE THE POT . LET GOD create us in a NEW HEART . LET us NOT try and create a GOD after OUR OWN LUSTFUL hearts desires .

Speaking of pot . too many are smoking the pot of francis and the all inclusive crack pipe that leads unto death .
Francis pot is bad news . And will do great damage unto the soul of those who follow that we are one unity led pipe fed pot dream .
Inhale the pure incense of the Word and words of the LORD .
Some try and say we just put our lips to the pot pipe but we dont inhale .
To the clinton christains who say such a thing , I didnt buy it when bill said it and i dont buy it when ye say it .

2 Timothy 2:20-21 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. [21] If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.


When thinking about the pot marred
And God making another
Makes me think of however that which came first is an earthen vessel. That which came second is an heavenly vessel, sanctified and meet for the masters use and prepared unto every good work. Does God have power to make of the same lump one unto dishonor and one unto honour? 1 Corinthians 5:6-8
