Bible Prophecy had no relevance (except for a good read) to those saints that have died in the past. It is only significant to those that will be alive at the time these words are fulfilled. So what information does Bible prophecy provide?1. Prepare for martyrdom.2. Prepare to be survive to Christ’s advent.Prepare to be martyred is simple; don’t take the mark of the beast and wait for the AC police to round you up.Preparing to survive to Christ’s advent; most Christians overlook this one. Joel 232 And everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, as the LORD has said, among the survivors whom the LORD calls. This is one of many passages that God has designated Mount Zion in Jerusalem as a place-of-safety for a pocket of Christians during the 42 months of the GT. All the yet to be fulfilled prophecies point to this. And this is the purpose of Bible Prophecy. In Yehoshua,Guy Smith

I would say that your conclusions are completely off, :naughty: no offense.Ask yourself why God would give us a book filled with tons of info about the end of this age and the nature of and end of the next age for no reason at all except as an unnecesary "FYI" to all people who live and die beforehand and without being killed by the antichrist? Why were Jesus and the prophets, who were uniquely filled with God's Spirit, so interested in it? Revelation is a great encouragment for believers endering any level of persecution or suffering, regardless of when they are going through it. There is a saying for those who are frustrated or suffering, "There's a new day coming."

In fact, for those who actually do face the literal antichrist, God's purpose is not for them to just have faith, suffer and be executed for their faith. According to Paul, the purpose of there being a church at all is "to provoke Israel to jealousy." That purpose is going to reach fulfillment by the time Jesus splits the sky. That means that the antichrist is going to try to exterminate all of Israel (born again Jews or or not) and exterminate any other Christians who identify with Israel and their God. The antichrist is Satan's last ditch effort to deny the Lord His earthly rule over His purchased people. The church is supposed to be a life and death witness to Israel that there God is Yeshua, their Messiah that the church has among them- reaching out to Israel and offering mercy, escpecially during the tribulation to come one day. We have a specific purpose. It is not to "wait," but to corporately grow into a mature body that will be an effectual witness of the gospel, as a body, by life or by death, to the unbelieving Israel which will be in flight and suffering another and worse attempt at genocide at the hands of the antichrist and his followers of that time.
