Let the brother or sister have whatever he / she wants. And let him / her have even more than that. Don’t fight back.

The object is to have a relationship with the Lord. The Bible helps us do that, but the goal is to have a relationship with God. The goal isn't to memorize the Bible.

Then what do you believe this verse means, if we can be disapproved of by God and outright ashamed by not knowing scripture well enough?

"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
2 Timothy 2:15

What BOOK DID HE PUT ME , What LOVE DID HE PUT INTO MY HEART .
IF we had the SPIRIT we would LOVE the BIBLE . That is a FACT . Any man that tries even half of what ol bob has been doing
HAS me greatly concerned for HIM . SOmething aint right . HE is slipping up too . Folks get weary of the bible
cause the flesh gets weary of those reminders . BUT A LAMB LOVES EVERY WORD .

My focus is on a man being attacked who hasn’t said anything wrong…

We study the Bible and then go out and do as the Lord commanded us to do. If we spend our lives studying, without going out and doing as the Lord commanded, what have we accomplished?

Now you're just going in circles. You and your fan club are weak in the Word.

You're proven wrong in one regard and you circle back around and throw up the same vanquished point when you run out of runway. Just can't get this bird to fly, can you?

I did answer the remarriage question: A divorced person cannot remarry unless the reason he divorced his wife was on grounds of unchastity.

As for the other question, I believe I recall the Lord advised us to settle before we go to court.

I think you will find that prayer - a personal relationship with the Lord - is the best way to learn. Until we develop that relationship, the Bible is helpful.
