The Purpose of the Bible

In the beginning we study the Bible. It will lead us to God. Then we develop a relationship with him.

So the Bible is only for young Christians, BUT IT SHOULDN'T BE STUDIED OR MEMORIZED.

Then, when we have somehow graduated from lightly skimming the Bible, no studying, then we withdraw from it even more and just pray a lot.

Right. That sounds very modern-church-ish. Gotcha.

I had a relationship with HIM the second HE drew me my friend . And THEN HE PUT me in the bible so as i could learn and continue
to grow . And In the bible HE keeps ME my friend .

I did answer the remarriage question: A divorced person cannot remarry unless the reason he divorced his wife was on grounds of unchastity.

As for the other question, I believe I recall the Lord advised us to settle before we go to court.

OH i didnt see the answer . Okay . Yes save for fornication is the only reason one can legally remarry , well
unless the spouse dies of course . By grace i have been a single man for many years now .
Wont remarry cause it would be adultery .
Ps , dont sorrow for me , I GOT ALL JOY IN THE LORD . HAPPY IS THE ONE WHO DOES HIS SAYINGS . OH YES .

I have another question for you . by the way you can ask me any question you like as well . Its good to do so .
What should the leaders of a church do if two brethren are gay and married and not repenting .
How do you think that should be handled .
Remember the pattern JESUS set and later the apostels kept and taught .

You can say it is not all inspired, but it says it is.. I believe in prayer too, but one of the ways God speaks to you is through His Word. That is a sure fire way to know His will.

My Bible (Revised Standard Version) uses the word "unchastity" rather than "fornication" (Matthew 19:9).

My question to you is , why would we ever seperate the book from the GOD who inspired it .
Just cause many bad seeds can say the bible is the word of GOD , and i do too , dont mean i am anything like them .
I have an idea , if you want to know who follows GOD , start asking some questions instead of doing what you are doing .
I know the KKK is of satan and they too can make the claim the bible is the word of GOD
so do many false ones , BUT DO THEY FOLLOW JESUS .
