It is so sad that the Greek root word "Kainos" that represents the condition of a freshly refurbished object as being "new" instead of "like new" in our translations provides the wrong context of God's intent in our translations.

Sadly, people desire brand new things over things that have been refurbished such that they look like new once again.

Our translations really need to be rewritten such that the same context as the original texts is maintained in them.
