I am finishing up the remodeling project in which the old homestead has come a long way. So I am going to be seeking to get back into some kind of ministry and of doing something of eternal significance. I had a vision on my bed about a large old alligator in my yard at the other house. Well I walked right up to it and begin to agitate it. Then I awoke.
I was reading that leviathan (alligators) are the king if all pride (Job 41). So I believe that I am going to run upon this monster in my near future. The question is in what form? Church people? A woman I have no business with? Relationships?
I take this as a warning from God. I must remember the roadmap to spirituality in metaphor of the Hebrew Temple...
1. Outer Gates - Justification: Everything begins with faith
2. Alter - Salvation: Accepting Jesus in our hearts
3. Laver - Sanctification: Conforming to a righteous believers standard
--- Inner Temple: The work of grace inside our hearts
4. Candlestick - Spiritual E (love, motivation) / c2 (faith, hope , charity, joy)
5. Table of Shewbread - The Word of God
6. Alter of Golden Incense - Prayer and praise
--The veil: The eye of the needle (Matthew 19:24)
7. The Ark of the Covenant - The Baptism in the Holy Ghost: The Shekinah Glory!
Notice the life of King Uzziah, who was so arrogant (the spirit of leviathan) that Isaiah did not see the Lord until King Uzziah was out of the way...
In the year that King Uzziah died I saw also the LORD sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. - Isaiah 6:1
And notice that when King Uzziah went into the temple he made it as far as the Alter of Golden Incense before he was turned away (2 Chronicles 26:16-20). I believe this was the spirit of leviathan in his life. I really do believe that I am going to meet with this spirit of leviathan in my near future. I just hope that I have the wisdom to either kill it or stay away from it.
