The raccoon, in all his ventures, often was forced, angrily, to climb trees to hunt for bird eggs, reaching his paw up, unnoticed by the nesting birds, might sneak a paw under the bird and get an egg for breakfast.
Usually the hen would startle, squock loudly, flutter about with its wings before figuring out what was startling it.
Unfortunately in the event of acquiring a measly egg or two for breakfast, the raccoon would become covered in tree sap.
Normally it would take wool and when rubbed against tree sap, would create static electricity.
Sometimes on a dry day, the grumpy raccoons fur would stand out like extra static, due to the tree sap bark climbing and egg hunting. As the sap mixed with the raccoons fur, it created a static fur condition.
Cute but grumpy raccoon story.
Cheers.
