The New Testament contains many mysteries that were previously hidden. One of the most profound is the temple of living stones.

Eph 2:19-22
Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spiri
t.

2 Co 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

As we see above all believers are being built together for a living temple. This is for the corporate indwelling of God himself. Just as each of us has an individual indwelling of the Holy Spirit, so there will also be a corporate manifestation.

Eph 3:9-11
And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

As we see above it is God's eternal purpose that this living temple(church) will reveal the manifold wisdom of God to the authorities in heavenly places. Note one thing...it is the church that does it, not the leadership.

Eph 4:11-13
And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

This five fold ministry is the scaffolding that is used to build this living temple. What happens to scaffolding when a building is complete? However, today we don't see a completed work. We mostly see the foundation of Christ and stories and stories of useless scaffolding. Instead of building this holy temple ministers just build more scaffolds by doing what they call "raising up leaders" The men that gravitate towards these positions are mostly ambitious power hungry men who are yet to be broken. The scaffolding grows higher but the actual building never does.

1 Co 3:10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

Paul was a wise masterbuilder and understood the assignment. Build this Temple of Living Stones for God's eternal purpose.

1 Pe 2:2-5

As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ

Peter also understood the assignment and taught this living temple to babes in Christ. If any man wants to teach it is good that he understands this. The reason for all creation is God's eternal purpose. He is building a temple of living stones in which to pour himself and the fullness of His glory. This will be such a profound revelation that it will remove forever, the possibility of future rebellion from any of His free will creations.

Rv 21:3-4 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
