1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; - Hebrews 1:1-2.
Religion will always showcase it's ignorance by the things it does. You ever look at the religious cathedrals of the world and wonder why. I like architecture and some of the old structures but you ever just think "what are they trying to prove." Or the ritual regalia some keep, the flowing gowns and ornate and theatrical attire. We have always held the idea "you live what you believe and people will know." A show of your religion has no point but to make you feel separate from the crowd. It is quite a performance by the leaders and you can always get some to follow along. It kind of reminds me of going to the circus, all the beautiful outfits and the performers all prepared for their act. That is what religion is an act, and you will have to become an actor if you fit in.
If you keep in mind what Hebrews 1:1-2 has to say to the believer " He will not speak by a prophet" or any other, He will speak by His Son. That's ironic after all these years of speaking through the prophet. In the last days (after the cross) I will speak only by my Son. Hold on friend, God is saying "if you want to hear from heaven" it will come by His Son only. God will only speak by His Son and no other way, so the believer needs to do a check and see who is talking to them. How do we do that? The written word of God, he speaks by His Son only through the written word to the born again. Do you know the born again have a very specific message to them. They need a gospel of their own because there has never been a people like them before.
There have been chosen people, there is an earthly people (Israel), there are those that was specifically used of God for a specific purpose such as; Noah, Abraham, Moses, King David, and the patriarchs of old but never a people that was birthed by God. Hebrews calls Israel a people chosen by God but they were not a birthed people. They were to be God's people and He would be their God. They are still an earthly people with earthly covenant's and promises that will be fulfilled.
So the birthed of God need a very specific message to go with the new birth, how else will they know. We didn't know until God raised up the Apostle Paul to bring into the earth a heavenly message he a called my gospel. You should take close notes here because all of your Christianity and religion are going to hang on the birthing. The completed finished work of the cross and the birthing will be the foundation for all you are and know. If you are still placing yourself somewhere between the Old Testament and the New Testament you are missing Christianity. Christianity is a people that are born again, birthed by God the Father and there has never been any birthed of God before the cross. The cross makes it possible because it does away with the old man nature and by a birthing you get a new nature which is in Christ. Thank God for the Apostle Paul because without him we would not even know Christ was put in the believer (the seed of God) the moment they believed. Bless you.
