The USS Gerald Ford and Task Force has left. In return .....something more alarming takes it's place. The task force for the USS Bataan takes it's place .......The USS Bataan has 1600 Marines on board. Why 1600 ground forces in a ship?

I don't know why they tolerate these things, seeing they can pretty easily stop it. They must be worried about being thought of as the aggressor who wiped out a country. Similarity to Iran, there are alliances these countries have that we don't desire to provoke too much. Then we get a new world war 3. So then containment and limiting abilities is what is done.
