Thinking of all of you in the USA

Hi I just wanted to convey my thoughts to all of you as you head into Tuesday. I realise that I am many hours ahead of you, and while it all unfolds I will no doubt be in bed asleep tomorrow evening. ( your day ). My son may stay up and see how it all goes.
I hate waiting around for results, and I am not sure how it all works with the postal votes. I understand that despite waiting for many votes it may be possible to see who is going to win depending on certain state results.

I wonder if the mods will allow a thread for comments and updates as the day unfolds xx

The WAY it was established, in person, show ID, private booth, Vote my choice.

Don't own a Mask, so not sure how that will play out. Hazmat suit be too much...

One way or another we will know on January 6th who won the election...
(When the Senate counts the Electoral College votes)

The Electoral College actually meets on the 14th of December. So chances are we will know then...and as contentious as this election has been...that's the day that really matters.

Electors are people...they don't always do what they are supposed to.

Why thank you Rita....blast away with your comments on the elections going on over here, on other side of the pond....from 1 sec after midnight your local GMT.

A little trivia ........What does Boris Johnson of the UK, Joe Biden, Bill Clinton, Trudeau of Canada, the NZ Prime Minister, the UN and several other leaders all have in common? They use/used or have the exact same 'Build Back Better' (BBB) slogan that goes back to the late 1990s. The term was reinvigorated again by Abe the now retired/retiring leader of Japan, at the UN in 2015, as a process to recover from especially natural disasters. Of course Abe's meaning is quite different from these other actors I've just mentioned above. It is most probably easy to guess what they mean, and it's most probably not 'good' for you or me, in the long term.

But not all.

Broadcast media won't say much until all the polls close.
