Matt 24:14And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.It is commonly thought by many Christians that this passage is referring to the gospel of Christ’s sacrifice for our sins and salvation. If it were true, the end would have already come and gone because the message of Christ’s sacrifice has been preached to the entire world for hundreds of years. I would also like to point out that when these words were uttered, Christ had not yet died on the cross and He was not preaching salvation by accepting His sacrifice. The gospel that Christ was talking about in Matt24:14 is the "good news" found within Bible prophecy. Bible prophecy in the past has always been where God forewarns certain individuals of impending disaster, and then He provides them with instructions on how to physically escape that disaster. The same applies to future yet –to –be-fulfilled Bible prophecy. Most Christians that are interested in Bible prophecy are aware of the disaster predictions. These disaster predictions are not the “good news,” escape instructions are. And it is these “escape instructions” that Christ is trying to convey Matt 24.In Yehoshua, Guy Smith
