I almost started crying once I heard his mother's voice start to waver. :'( My thoughts and prayers with the friends and family of this young man, may he rest in peace and rest within the arms of Jesus.

I've not seen any information wherein it was said children are immune from contracting this virus. Their numbers infected just aren't up there with adults.

That's a shame. As we see, they are not.
Even if we know they're going to a better place it doesn't make things easier for us. Parents aren't ever supposed to bury their child.
I havent watched the video, but this is sad. The family are in my prayers. My two year old niece had it.
Not immune, but PRACTICALLY immune. Here are the stats from New York city [Note: The web page does not maintain the columns below]

We are collecting and analyzing the data from all US States. In the meantime, below we show the data provided by New York City Health as of May 13, 2020:

0 - 17 years old 9 0.06%
18 - 44 years old 601 3.9%
45 - 64 years old 3,413 22.4%
65 - 74 years old 3,788 24.9%
75+ years old 7,419 48.7%
Out of about 15,000 people there were only 9 deaths of young children. Also underlying health conditions were a major cause of deaths.
These statistics are representative of what has happened right across America. Almost 50% of the deaths are among those older than 75. Which means that Fake News sources are trying to mislead people once again to think that Wuhan virus is a risk for children.

There's a radio show hubby listens to late night. Don't think the facts about the dangers of this Covid vaccine are urban legend and not to be believed. Last night during the broadcast the host started talking about the information we've all gleaned from the various warning videos put out by qualified credentialed physicians and researchers. Next thing you know, his show went silent for a full 10 minutes. Then the shut down abated and he once again informed his listeners that that was big brother censor, warning what was being discussed was verboten!

One community of members, children to elderly, that have never had a reported case of Covid-19? The Amish.
Because they do not mingle outside their communities. Which is good in many ways.

You don't live near any Amish nor know about them.
Amish mingle outside their communities.
They also get rides in cars their practice forbids them to own, because they're owned by the "English" and that makes it OK.
They get driven to work for the English, those who work construction and are in business, like "Amish Built Homes" builders found in parts of the U.S..
They also have other businesses, like hay, straw and feeds, to supply the English who own ranches and farms. And they have other businesses as well, like butcher shops/stores, etc...All patronized by those outside their community.
And Rumspringa is another means by which their children aged usually from 14 to 16, get to decide by mingling in the world of the English if they'd prefer that, or decide to go ahead and be baptized into the Amish faith and practice.
So no, they're not less impacted than we because they don't mingle with the English, or outside their community.
People use their own feelings to calculate risk.
Children are the absolute worst at this because of their lack of experience.
Adults are horrible as well because they often believe that they can overcome a cold but can't overcome a manufactured danger that they don't understand.
All completely unsound logic...
They can't differentiate between a 25% chance or a 0.001% chance... because they are using feelings to calculate their odds.
And now the government is making choices for us using similar methodology for determining risks for us...
But it's just like me with a chopping knife in my hand...my fingers rub the blade (but not the edge) for safety...now who is going to risk their child's fingers while I'm chopping?
