Thousands of people gathered near Germany's biggest World War II soldiers cemetery on Saturday to protest against far-right extremism. Demonstrators formed a human chain near the cemetery in Halbe, south of Berlin, and were to hear speeches later Saturday from politicians and musicians. The "Day of the Democrats" protest, called by an alliance of mainstream political parties, went ahead even though police banned an annual demonstration there by neo-Nazi groups. Some 700 far-right supporters instead gathered on Saturday at another war-era cemetery in Seelow, about 100 kilometers (60 miles) further east.

The less Neo-Nazi's the better. In Germany, holocaust denial and Nazi sympathizing is illegal, but here in the US, people can be as extreme as they want to be.Oh which by the way can be a slippery slope from either extreme by the way.
