To the frazzled heart;
Do not despair, for the lower and weaker one feels, the closer one is to true freedom… For despairing from all help, except that which comes from above, is the path toward all freedom and joy… This, which sounds so simple is one of the hardest things to do… For it calls for trusting another with your most treasured possession, which is your very own life…
For this is the position of all grace and help coming from above, when one is so weak that they throw themselves in the Holy of Holies and say;
‘God you are my portion and my only portion… I will have you or I will have nothing and that includes life itself.. For I am who I need to be saved from, my own willing and choosing, my own thoughts, desires, ideas, my own understanding or lack of.. My very self, my very own me’…
This state of heart once reached is the most blessed of all states before God, a;
‘God I need you not just in the small and large but in everything and at every moment I live.. Because God, left to my own devices, I will mess things up’
This state of heart God is trying to bring us all to, and those that have tasted of this state, a deeper degree of tasting this truth…. For this is the only ground Christ can grow from, a ground cleared of all self…
