But if you're talking about members leaving because they feel attacked by other posters then I would have to say: let them decide for themselves what environment they will be part of. On another forum I was discriminated against. People would post harassing comments about me and make personal attacks and nothing would be done about it, yet I was warned constantly for tiny little things and was harassed by the mods because they were liberals. This place is a safe haven for Christians and a far better environment then other so called Christian forums that promote liberalism and modern day evils.

Let us also pray for those who are enemies of the Truth. That they repent and will not have to suffer the second death. God is no liar, so consider his every word a promise.
"But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”
Some will reveal their character or unrepentant beliefs in the occult and will be banned. We do not allow that kind of thing here for the protection of vulnerable members, so remember to report rule violations. God loves everyone, their dismissal here is not the end for their souls. But as time grows short I fear for the unrepentant, how fearsome is his love? What depths will God go to draw someone to Jesus if they sit upon a fence?

Lest we forget also the scoundrels who wear two faces. Those ravenous wolves clothed as sheep.
One profile,face, cites scripture, then openly threatens others with violence as much as is able to be accomplished in print on the web for disagreeing with their pov. And also employs name calling to reiterate their point.
The second face sexually harasses sisters. Sends unwanted messages containing sexual innuendo, even when that wolf is married. As may also be the one they PM.
And also,lest it be left otherwise unsaid, sends pictures that are, shall we say, inappropriate.
My point being, the enemy wears many faces. And reclines in many a seat.
And what better way to stay hidden than to accuse others of offenses against the written word of God? Put the accused on the defensive while the accuser remains false and, unless God intervenes and changes that dark perverse heart, eternally damned.
Forums are not sanctuary with an impenetrable barrier that prevents sin filled minds entry.
In fact, I think we are a beacon that penetrates that dark core in the fallen. And leads them to join for the dark sport it affords them.
Countering the holy message of God, when read in context of course, in order to deposit conflict amid a people living the peace of Christ.
But, we see them because we know them by their works. And their numerous masks account after account. From the highest office on a board unto the average member. Importantly though I think is what they send others in private.
Which in every word of it tells the recipient they have been messaged by a devil. Whose wool costume evaporated entirely the moment they hit, send.
Praying for my fellow sisters and brothers in Christ. May we praise the Lord with our life and words.
And may the enemies of Christ here and in any forum dedicated to Jesus live afraid when even demons know his name and tremble.

Wow! I see Holy fire in this post. Just read this a couple of minutes ago. Goes along with my prayer request for CB!
I pray that the Lord gives you guys good discernment. It is also a Biblical decision-
" What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? God will judge those outside. “Expel the wicked person from among you.”"

Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret.
And as @lforrest had said about reporting, I have difficulty with these things. I don't do that usually unless it's spam, but I myself have been spiritually corrected today with this verse.

Any PM can be reported...mods can't see conversations until they are reported. I have zero tolerance for predators who lure women into a private conversation and send inappropriate pictures to them.

We are already girdled with the full armor of God, that no enemy shall cast either sling nor arrow against us and prevail. And too remember, Jesus instructed his disciples to sell what they had to in order to buy a sword.
We are sheep of the Lord who knows our name because we did know and respond to his beckoning us home.
Never ever let a threat prevail through our silence. Report them! That which is done in the dark shall be exposed when brought into the light.
Remember the ,"Me Too!" movement?
Part of what injured their credibility as person's gathered, united, against sexual assault and harassment, was the fact of certain of their members silence.And for years!
And,because they were afraid to speak out then. When it had happened. Thereby enabling that predator(s) to continue their deplorable acts against other women.
And when certain of those victims did elect to speak out? In many cases the statute of limitations wherein that predator(s) could have faced justice for their offenses had expired.
Those silent women and men therein contributed to other women and men being victimized. And all due to remaining silent for whatever reason.
Sadly, one reason being embarrassment , a sense of guilt, and shame.
Self blame. That unhealthy self destructive monologue. "What did I do that made them see me this way?" Etc...
When in God's sight, the offender, the pervert, is always at fault.Always!
And they shall continue unabated if the one avenue they count on is allowed to remain in place; Silence.
Take that sword of the Lord up and imagine it pointed between the eyes of that son of the adversary.
Say aloud to them and to God in prayer (just a suggestion that spilled forth as I was typing it): You, (an offender against you)shall not be permitted through my silence to continue to thrive in your sin against me or others! In Jesus name, I rebuke thee and report your sins. For the sake of myself and all others. Amen.
Rarely are we able to save people from the evils of this world when we are already saved in Christ.
Wolves thrive because they clamp their jaws upopn the throat of the sheep. And thereby stop their bleating that warns the rest of the herd of their presence.

By raising awareness that people are leaving CB it is in fact a statement that might indicate there's something wrong here when in fact there isn't. But I know your intentions were good.
Oh okay now I see what you're saying lol but it's not like it's a big secret that we have lost members as they're the ones who publicly announce it so it comes in handy if they have a nice goodbye message. Of course there's nothing wrong with the forum,.. but there is something wrong with a lot of the members that post here though.
Are you vested with authority to speak for all members who have departed CB?
I assure you, there is a problem if,when, someone sexually harasses and or threatens a member in private. I.E PM's.
I was a member of a forum for a brief time and where that did occur. Not only did I receive inappropriate PM's, I also was sent images of couples,not sexually explicit, but none the less inappropriate when the sender was not only married, but was also a Moderator under a different name. I know this because he told me so.
I informed them this was wrong and I was uncomfortable. They just laughed, settled down for a post (pm) or two, and then went back to their routine as perv.
I'd hoped I could reach them by rebuffing their efforts by telling them to stop with the flirting and pictures, and therein keeping it casual. Or ignoring them, which I ultimately did.Had to.
Somehow they bypassed the ignore function. And continued as if no barrier on my part had been installed.
Who to report them too? A Moderator with years standing?
I left.
Because something was wrong.
Unfortunately, in the midst of his PM's he revealed he PM'd many women on the site. God be with them.
When the stress of participating on a Christian form outweighs its joy, I assure you something, someone, is wrong.
And I don't think it right to impart April's intentions in the OP are of good heart, after implying the topic itself is invalid and-or unfounded.

Seems like the poster above is agreeing with what I am saying. Tomorrow for my educational topics, we will be speaking about the importance of speaking up and this is a perfect example of why. Please, if you are getting sexually harrassed and or feeling uncomfortable with a member on here report it and or talk to the staff members about it. That's what their here for. I'm even starting to trust and like one of them again that I've sort of butted heads with in the past,.. they're truly the best staff as a whole I've ever seen on any forum ever.

Yeah I was speaking of the norm, not the abnormal.
I want to also clarify that anyone who bears false witness against another member here will not be tolerated....there were many of those in the "me too" movement as well.
What does scripture say about anyone who despitefull uses you?

Understood. The OP, per my understanding, was referring to the abnormal.
I arrive at that understanding because of this question. How often do members leave a normal, safe, cordial atmosphere, forum?
