The 2:00 PM EST update came in just now and Chris is still a tropical storm but it's expected to become a hurricane in the new 12-24 hours. The worst will stay offshore as far as the immediate future is concerned but there could be areas of 8 inches of rain in some of the island areas including Puerto Rico.Please keep the people in the path of this storm in your prayers.
