JESUS came to show us THE TRUE AND LIVING WAY . if a man uses the TORAH
to try and overide him , ITS THEY WHO KNOW NOT OR UNDERSTAND .
Lest he wants to go ahead and put the tooth for tooth back into the equation .
JESUS CAME TO SHEW US THE WAY
and we UNDERSTAND and KNOW we are not the judge of the law . THAT TIME has passed .
Under the law people could be put to death .
TODAY if we see such in the church we simply put them OUT of said church till they repent .
ANYONE who uses TORAH to DENY JESUS WORDS , understands neither TORAH oR GOD WHO SENT CHRIST .

and we ought to learn . But if any uses the words of the prophets , of the law , or of torah
TO CONTRADICT JESUS , then heed no such man .
Actually the more we learn OF JESUS , HIS WORDS , the MORE we see Torah for WHOM it POINTED TOO
and WHO ALONE is worthy to put man to death . AND we see GOD desires LIFE and not death
BUT we see many REJECT CHRIST and thus THE WRATH OF GOD shall abide upon them .

There are more than a few "BUT I SAY UNTO YOU's" as opposed to what was spoken prior to them though, so couldn't those be perceived as contradictions in terms of what was before? I never heard of anyone really "going there" and I suppose because Jesus makes it blantantly obvious what was and what He says to them.

This arguments/disagreement is silly.

Any 'old fool' can place their hand on a bible and swear an oath, but it is the state of their heart that is more important, and since we cannot examine a person's heart to see what state it is in, it is impossible for us to judge the state of that person's heart when they gave that oath.

You are right. It is the state of a person's heart that is more important. Did Obama and Biden place their hand on a Bible as they swore in? Did it make any difference for them? What kind of fruit did they bear while serving as President? (Matthew 7:17)
