Ballots sent in after polls close cannot be counted.

Siding with the RNC, the Georgia Supreme Court overturned a judge's ruling extending the deadline until Friday in Cobb County, located in suburban Atlanta. The court decided that only absentee ballots that arrive by 7 p.m. ET on Tuesday (0000 GMT Wednesday) can be counted.

Good news... apparently that county votes Democrat.

Nope. I live in Cobb County and its very, very conservative. However Government employees anywhere are notoriously democrat, there is always a pocket of dissidents in any town, city, or state.

Issue could be cheaters see the count and know they lost. So create whatever number of ballots needed to win. That is how extended days to count new fraudulent ballots might be used. Ideally have ballots warehoused ready to go.
