I had to sit through Diversity, Inclusion and Equity training. They had a list of things you can’t say because they are micro aggressions. One of the things you can’t say is “I think the most qualified person should get the job,”
We have training cells here too. Including those categories but at least they're an elective.
That last part is pathetic. How far we've fallen. Yet here, it explains why some people are in managerial positions. They're not qualified. They're just black, gay, trans, etc...

You don't know what you're doing but you're........ That's good enough for corporate. Welcome aboard. Meanwhile those who are fit and then some apply but are never called back to start work after they were told they had the job. Their app. just has to go to the hiring manager first.
That's why they're never called back.
They don't fit the aforementioned profiles.
