17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, - Ephesians 4:17.
When people get wore out, wether it's on a job or whatever the situation is that is wearing you out. That exhaustion comes from the vanity of the mind. I would like to stand and tell the people if they tried harder or even maybe prayed harder or gave more or did more the rest would come. But it won't. Rest is a person. You enter into rest, it is not something you do to get, it is someone that lives and you live by that someone. That is rest, Christ is rest.
I want to sum up "vanity of my mind" :
Vanity of mind is; you doing the work, you doing the living, you doing your life like there has been no change other than your going to heaven now and you don't sin as much as you used to. That is what christianity can be if you live from the vanity of your mind.
What is the fix for believers? Christ. Christ doing the living, Christ on the job, you know the scenario, you have heard me say it a thousand times if you have read any of these. When a believer does not know the plan of God for life and living that life they will live from their mind "vanity of mind.''
Just because a person gets saved does not mean they know the plan of God.
Nothing wrong with you, you are created in the image and likeness of God, but it is not the plan for me to live a life from my mind. This is not a life, this is the only life there is, other than sin Satan nature separation death life, and I wonder why I'm always in a situation. Believers must take their head out of the sand, admit they have been getting the day lights whipped out of them and get it fixed. There is no other way.
It is written; there is only one way, one life, and one truth, and Christians have to make that discovery or life does not get better it gets worse. People by the groves are finding out "there is no life but Christ, and that life is in them as their only life.", make the discovery today as the Lord leads you into Him, His rest. Bless you. I believe and pray for the body of Christ.
